"We chose this property for our stay while participating in the Hawke's Bay Marathon, and it was a perfect choice. The location is excellent—safe, accessible, and surrounded by friendly people. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the amenities were clean and pleasant, including the warm water available for showers, which was a relief after our run. One suggestion would be to include a basic cooking set, which would make meal preparation more convenient. Nevertheless, our overall experience was great, and I would consider staying here again in the future."

"We’ve stayed at The Edgewater for 5 years now for the HawkesBay marathon. It’s always a great choice for us! Consistently clean, tidy, and well priced. Suits us well with a good location to walk to restaurants and opposite the playground and waterfront for nice walks. It has everything you need to be comfortable. Lovely views, friendly staff. Will happily book here again and again. "
