"Lovely town- tiny room - but everything we needed! Walked to grocery and dinner- easy friendly town- older property but the windows opened during the day when it was warm and the boiler worked at night when it was cold - updated and restored nicely "

"My husband and I stayed one night on a longer trip around the Ring Road. This hotel was by far the most beautiful. The only downside was that it was very warm due to the long daylight hours in late May. Many patrons left their doors open to allow the cool air to come in. That wasn't feasible during sleeping hours, but did cool things down a bit. There was a TV on the wall, but it was not functional. We didn't miss it, because the area around the hotel was beautiful, so no real loss there. The food, both for dinner and breakfast, was exceptional. The staff was top notch. It was a lovely stay just outside of town, so it was nice and quiet, but near gas stations and grocery stores. If I had to find one downside, it was that there was only shower gel (no shampoo/conditioner) in the room. So pack your own! "

"Got caught here during a snow storm and they easily accommodated an extension. The rooms are big although we had to fully get everything out of the room so that they could clean. Breakfast was great. Decor was dated, but that would be my only minor complaint. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Small town, not much to do except for the baths and puffins (which we couldn’t see because the road was closed)."

"Gentleman at front desk reception was wonderful, the staff in the restaurant/bar for both dinner and breakfast were cold and unfriendly. Wonderful view of the fjord right on the water, however be aware that there is a fish factory and at times the smell is extremely strong. Loved our clean and comfortable room."
