"Firstly thank to owner Joana for being so responsive. The house in Esposende totally fitted the holiday brief - we wanted somewhere coastal but chill without the hordes of tourists and tat! The old part of Esposende (10 mins stroll from house) is a lovely old fishing village - great tapas and light bites to be had al fresco in the main square of an evening - there's a sushi restaurant that looks good, too! The house is only a five minute walk to a beach which is low surf and PERFECT for swimming...

"Very clean and comfortable. Modern, well decorated, well stocked home. Craftsmanship and finishes in home very good. View from patio fantastic. Several great places to visit close by. Bed a bit on the firm side, but quickly got use to and it didn’t take away from the enjoyment. If you want peace and solitude this is the place!"

"The property was a very good size for 8 adults. It was close to the beach and a few good restaurants. The garden areas were comfortable and although we didn’t use the bbq area because of the time of year it looked to be a very pleasant space. The property was very contemporary in style although on a practical side there were a couple of small grumbles. Nowhere to hang damp towels indoors. The shower head in the en-suite was ultra modern but not very good for getting wet because it was too...

"Pros: We had a wonderful week at this lovely house with our family. The home was incredibly comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. One of the highlights of our stay was the kindness and attentiveness of the host. He was always available and willing to help with anything we needed. During our stay, there was an unexpected nationwide power outage, but the host handled the situation with great professionalism and care. He immediately checked in with us and provided updates...
