"Booked this inn for two nights over Memorial Day weekend for two reasons: first, my husband was running in the Vermont City marathon, and second, the room featured a hot tub which my husband would use following the race. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating and they provided a delicious gourmet breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when we are back in the area. "

Shelburne proved to be a great location for our 4-night stay: a quiet town offering both good access to Burlington and the amazing local Shelburne Museum, which is unlike anything we’ve encountered before in its diversity and quality of exhibits. Highly recommended!"

"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "
