"The staff were outstanding and very helpful.
Downside the bathroom in our room was very dated, and could do with some work.
Would definitely go back!"
"Florença is a very good solution in a city where hotels are normally very expensive and getting around is a little difficult. The Belas shopping center across the way offers a number of restaurants (in addition to the one in the hotel itself) and also shopping for basics such as fruit. This is very practical, especially during slightly longer stays."
"Excellent staff. I was there on business for a week and anyone I dealt with was great. The rooms are nice and was dead quiet when in it. Food was excellent. "

"This rental had major health and safety risks. The mosquito infestation was severe due to windows that didn’t close properly and a murky, unmaintained pool breeding mosquitoes. Despite staying indoors, I contracted malaria here. The electricity went out twice because staff failed to pay the bill on time. The first time, I was left without AC in extreme heat while sick. The second time, they made excuses like "My phone wasn’t charged," then blamed me for using AC, ignoring that I needed it for mosquito control.Beyond this, the apartment was poorly maintained:No private parking—just a rubble lot.Bedrooms didn’t have two large twin beds as advertised.Washing machine was rusted and broken; repairs took two days.Bathroom was unfinished, with a rusty, makeshift drain.Cockroaches—I fumigated for mosquitos with permethrin and killed at least 10 roaches.Security concerns—the front door was taped to stay open, and hallway lights didn’t work. The area was undeveloped, worsening the mosquito problem. The "luxury" claim was false—the fridge was dented, walls cracked, and hot water lasted 10 minutes. Not worth living with mosquitos and having to be on the look out for them, or your limited AC consumption to keep them away. Thankfully, VRBO relocated me and is trying to be helpful, but this listing should be removed to protect future guests or stop evoking this place as at all luxury, with honest photos/descriptions of the surroundings and interior fixes."
