It’s a beautiful quiet town in the Rockies, definitely a getaway from Dallas.
I really enjoyed the culture, shopping and the local atmosphere. I drove up the mountains twice and loved it both times. It was my first time and definitely not my last. I will be visiting again just for the calm and clean living.
Beautiful town with a full 360 degree view of the mountains. On our first night we saw Elk grazing in the park right downtown.
I would suggest always booking ahead for activities to secure your reservation. Especially after the pandemic when things pick back up.
Charming.
