What an incredible place. The entire property is beautiful, the rooms were so clean and cozy, and the staff were so welcoming. We were in Portugal for 2 weeks, and this was hands down our favorite stay. Breakfast and the pool were big highlights. Thanks for everything!

Historical building, spacious room, good AC. Nice view from the window. Breakfast could be better - like add some veggies and more choices. Parking was tight, so we parked in the back. We were told that the door would be open, but it was closed the first time, so we had to drive back, and then back again.

I believe this establishment has a lot of potential however, they are definitely short staffed, and this reflects in the service. At the check-in, not a person in sight had to look around to find an employee when finally, the check-in agent arrived. He was very low-key and not to accommodating. We were not able to check in early and benefit of the lovely pool and facilities so we left and came back a few hours later. The checking agent did not even offer us to go and sit by the pool and have some lunch was Barry all right in letting us leave to come back at 4 PM. The room is dated and need some love decor bland. Bed very hard.
