A house by the sea.

"Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung direkt am MeerWir waren mit der Ferienwohnung rundum zufrieden. Sie ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Besonders toll ist die Lage: Das Meer ist keine 20 Meter entfernt und eignet sich direkt vor der Unterkunft hervorragend zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln.Ein weiteres Highlight unserer Reise, der Listis Beach, ist mit dem Auto in weniger als 15 Minuten erreichbar.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das gemeinsame Essen mit unseren Gastgebern Eleni und Kostas, die extra für uns gekocht haben. Das war eine sehr schöne und persönliche Erfahrung, an die wir uns gerne zurückerinnern werden.Bei Fragen oder Problemen war unsere Gastgeberin jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Auch für Familien mit Kindern ist die Wohnung bestens geeignet – es gibt Spielzeug und sogar ein separates Kinderzimmer.Alles in allem war es für uns ein rundum gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen."

"We absolutely loved Arcasa. The villa was beautiful, stylish, clean and comfortable. The outside area was private with high quality sun loungers and patio furniture. Everything that you need is in the villa. We arrived late and Michael very kindly left us some food and water to get us through to the next day when shops would be open. Lovely cleaners came everyday to empty bins etc. The town is fabulous, we enjoyed a coffee in the square every morning and fresh bread from one of the bakeries. You won’t find many tourists here, it’s mainly local which is what we loved. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the town serving amazing Greek food. Just be aware that the walk down to the town is very steep and getting back up is a workout after dinner. We were fine with it but definitely not for anyone with mobility issues, take your car instead, once down the hill the town is flat. We loved Arcasa and Archanes and will be back"
AGRIELIA VILLA FAMILY - FRIENDLY VILLA IN HERAKLION CRETE

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Spent lots of time in the pool and outside area, where there is a table we played games at. We didn’t cook, but you could have a nice meal outside. Loungers next to pool were great for reading, relaxing, and you can move chairs to get more or less sun. Very private, even in back by pool. Air conditioning worked well. Need a car to get anywhere, but it’s not far to get to town/beach. I would return here for sure!"

"What an incredible setting! Gorgeous views and privacy. The pool, breakfast and wifi were fantastic during our stay. Access to the nearby village was a great perk to experience a low-key, charming area with wonderful restaurants."

"A beautiful setting to explore the enchanted village of Archanes. Be prepared for lots of friendly cats, you may wish to bring some treats with you, or pick some up at the local market. Hosts recommendations for dining and exploring were very good."

"Athena was an amazing host and went out of her way to help us with late arrival, lost luggage, parking and tips for Archanes and Crete. The town, location and setting with the courtyard is great. The town is close to Heraklion airport, so it was easy to get there even after arriving very late. Athena was in contact with us throughout and made sure we found the property."
Creta Leisure Escape, Private Pool & Garden Oasis

"This property was great, the villa was fitted with sliding bug nets across all windows allowing for the windows to be open without letting bugs in. The pool was clean and the umbrella alongside sun loungers was great for providing shade. All spaces in the villa were clean and the beds were very comfortable. There are outdoor shutters on the windows for privacy and darken the room very well for sleeping. The villa is well located to nearby quiet beaches and interesting archeological sites for day trips, as well as being located a 10 minute drive from Lidl. There are restaurants local to the town of Pompia providing great Greek cuisine and everyone is very friendly. Would recommend hiring a car as it is around a 50 minute drive from the airport, and there was not much public transport in the area due to being quite rural, however roads were good quality."
