"We had the best time this week! The house was spacious enough for 4 teens and 2 adults, super clean, stocked with things we didn’t even know we might need, and a short walk to the water. It rained a couple of the days we were there but it was still peaceful to watch the rain out of the huge windows! I usually prefer to stay overlooking the water but this was close enough! We had the whole beach area to ourselves!"

"Cottage is in a nice little subdivision on Sam Rayburn Lake. The subdivision had its own boat ramp which was very convenient. The cottage has everything you need for cooking up your favorite meal. Gas grill would be an added bonus. 3 comfortable queen beds. Not a far drive to Boykin Springs for a nice hike, then a swim in the lake which is fed by cold springs. Easy drive to Lufkin if more dining options are required. Brookshire Brothers store in Zavalla is close by. Brought our SeaDoo with us...

"The place is really cute and cozy. It stormed before we got there, which was a mess due to the limited grass. We had mud and sand everywhere. I think the parking could use a little more limestone. Overall the place was so cozy and really pretty. Our neighbor Mr Kenneth was awesome and so sweet. We loved him. It was further than we thought from the weigh in for tournament, but that’s my fault.
