"The woman at check-in was very friendly and kind. The room was dated but decent, clean towels and bedding were fresh and clean. Small but nice free breakfast area. The only drawback in the room was the lighting was really dim and curtains could not be open because of privacy. A good value for what you pay. I stayed the first night at the Holiday Inn express but they didn't have any rooms the following days and didn't seem very eager to accommodate me if there were cancellations. I'm glad I moved to this motel. The front desk clerk was much more friendly!"

"Wonderful place to stay for my family of 3. Definitely room for 2-3 more. About a 15 minute drive to MSU which was easy. All was recently upgraded and renovated which made a very nice stay. Host was quick to respond and pleasant. We will definitely consider staying here again for MSU football etc "

"I had a hard time find this place, there need to be sign on old mountain road tell u how to get there. I had to clean one of the bathroom the shower was not clean. There are French door when u enter this place. There need to be some blind to the door."

"We really enjoyed our stay at. The getaway Place was fully stocked and exceptionally clean, we expect to visit again in the fall and will definitely book this place again. ! Host is great, responded to questions almost immediately."
