Stayed here for a week in the summer with the family. Location is pretty good. Quiet little street with a partial view of the bay. House is nice, clean and functional. Short drive to old town Eureka and Arcata where the fun/interesting stuff is. Great hub to visit surrounding redwoods, lagoons, nature around here. Very convenient to the zoo/sky walk which the kids loved.

Spacious and great location
If you are a birdwatcher this home provides ample varieties with easy access to more areas south of Eureka.
Large kitchen fits well with our group. Large living room provides ample places to sit.
Front and back patios are very large and provide views, space for sitting and sunsets over the ocean as it is up on a bluff.
We have been here twice and may come back each year.

Nautical Stay
Loved the kitchen, dining living combo. Kitchen had it all. Excellent gathering spaces. Grab bars were perfect in bathrooms for my 95 yr young mother. Easy access, no stairs.
Roku worked great after learning curve. Views nice for us as birdwatchers.

Fun Trip
I loved this house. Clean, great view. Great app! My only complaint at all is the cheap mattresses. Like sleeping on a cardboard bale. You can get a much more comfortable mattress for cheap if you shop around. The mark up is like 400 percent. Seems you could buy bulk for a rental company this large.
We love the house but the first day was very disappointing. floors especially in the entry way, kitchen and bathrooms were very dirty including some of the surfaces. also the fridge which my wife cleaned up. then we decided to call and they sent someone out to clean. the girl did a really good job, its just that we had to wait for her to come and it took time to clean so just had to wait. It was frustratating but the rest of our stay was good
The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the view! Also, the property is very private and it's nice not to have a bunch of neighbors looking in at ya:) We had everything we needed! Plenty of towels and dishes. The beds were comfortable. The seating in the living and dining rooms were also comfortable. The decor is cute and not over done. We loved all the natural light from the big windows and skylights in the living room and kitchen. We would definitely stay again!
Very clean, good communication with host, plenty of room, the detached bedroom was a little different, not convenient location to town, however I’m from Humboldt County so I know shopping isn’t great. Overall good experience but the location isn’t great for us:)

As advertised
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was advertised and we used the home as our base for coastal activities.
I was extremely impressed with this cute and cozy home! This place met all our needs, had all the kitchen gadgets we needed, and decorated so nicely. Clean, and nice quiet neighborhood. Definitely a 5 star review and we will rent this spot again!

Great views from the home
Loved the FULL 180% view of the bay and great sunsets. The large windows and and views from the Kitchen were awesome. We spent most of our time at the kitchen counter when we were in the home. It did smell a little musty especially as you went towards the bedrooms. The back bed has a hard mattress. Neither bothered my husband, however I’m very sensitive and both bothered me.
The property itself is beautiful. The home was comfortable. However there were a few things not disclosed.
The instructions with code was incomplete, i had to call PM to get help on how to use the door code properly, i.e. press logo, turn left, etc.
Once we entered we were met with ants, and a sign that says NO REFUNDS due to ants if we leave or complain but this WAS NOT DISCLOSED to me during booking. NOTHING on booking mentioned ants. In addition, the counters were not clean or wiped down, i can clearly see stains from dried liquids.
We saw a sign by the foyer that we needed to leave shoes at the door, but our socks were BLACK and feet black, I'm assuming their cleaners doesnt mop the house.
My aunt turned her pillow over and was met with a FOUL body odor on the pillow.. not sure if they do ALL the laundry in the home or if they only touch what us evidently used. That was gross.
Lastly, the air vent in the master bedroom had hair and lint clearly hanging from it, my husband's allergy flared up everytime the air kicked on.
Because the property is in eureka, we were staying for an entire week, we did not complain about these things. We toughed it out. But I hope property management kicks up their cleaning a notch for thue beautiful home. My problem was the lack of disclosure of ants, and lack of cleanliness of the home. I would book again, but I would ask or inquire next time. I have photos of the vent but we just washed our socks for the week and waited to do review.

Great location
Views were great, clean. Great communication by owner. Beds were all very firm. They provided good things like soap for washer and dish washer. A few things were there like some seasonings. Things that would have been nice would be things like foil, plastic wrap. Maybe last people used it all up i don’t know. They had some playing cards there but no others family games. That was a bummer. Could have used some board games for sure.
The house itself and views were great. We stayed about a week. The only downside was that I was working remotely and missed out on a whole weeks worth of work due to internet issues. There was also no cable so the TV relied on internet and it did not work as well. Very disappointing since we paid a lot of money to rent the place and I was planning on working during the week. The owner was very nice and came out to reboot everything but unfortunately it still was not working. I do not recommend staying here if you need to work online during your stay or have children who need internet/television.
Great place to have a retreat for friends or as a base for touring. Two patios make it great for outside chats. Front for the view and the back one when wind is blowing—it’s protected. Beds and couches are really comfy. Will go again
