"We really enjoyed our stay. Pedro was such a charming host and carried our very heavy bag up to the apartment. The location is perfect, the beds were comfortable, the temperature was nice and cool during some very hot days in Madrid, and there was plenty of space for us to enjoy family time. We did not mind the four flights of stairs, but we walk and hike regularly. It was also easy to catch a taxi out front. We really enjoyed looking down at all the action from the balcony. "The room was good but we didn't expect an apartment building when we booked on a hotel site. Our flight was delayed and the instructions for getting into the apartment gate did not work. No help at 5am via phone. Had to mechanically bypass the front lock to get the family off the street and into bed which was a bit frustrating. The room was very nice and air conditioned though. "

"A superb apartment in a very central location for down town Funchal. Spotlessly clean and well equipped with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Balcony view from our room 20 wasn’t great, but it was very private and it did benefit from the early morning sunshine which was lovely. "We booked this place for the convenience of the location near the airport. Check in is supposed to be at 4pm. We had to contact the property directly multiple times to get the access code to the property and this was not given to us until after 5pm. "We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We walked to Sagrada Familia, Park Guell and Gothic Quarter. The only problem was with the keys. We were told to lock the door when we leave, but the keys didn't work. And we were able to open the door with only one of the keys. So check your keys when you get them."
