"Accommodation was ok, although it did not look anything like the photos. Also had to clean the sofa before making the bed which was not ideal on the first day. The flat was small & compact and not ideal for anyone over 5ft really. The toilet and separate shower rooms very small & tight. Very basic set up in the kitchen but had everything needed to make a meal if needed. One big thing missing was any air conditioning, being at the top was very hot and only had 3 small fans. No natural daylight into the flat as when kitchen window is opening it’s blocked by growing plants. Window in lounge also did not open well due to sofa being in the way. Very tight and awkward mezzanine floor to get to the bed on hands and knees A smalls and very tight steps up to the 2nd bedroom but this could be accessed by another door. As a base to stay it was ok for a short trip."

"Riu Plaza Madrid is at the end of Gran Via right in the heart of Plaza Espana. Is a nice facility remodel with personalized elevators and a good breakfast for 2 or 3 days, after 3 days you get tired of eating the same thing We stay for six days and we ate breakfast out of the hotel 3 days Other than that it was a great stay All personnel at the hotel very well trained to customer satisfaction I just wish that the menu at breakfast were different rather than make it very repeatable"

"The property is centrally located with restaurants, pharmacies, shops & attractions within walking distance. But the area is still quiet early mornings & at night. The room is a good size, the bed was comfy and I loved having a fridge. The meal I ordered in the restaurant was pretty good and convenient after a long & exhausting day sight seeing."

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel however it was a bit of a distance from all the attractions in central Rome. No issue getting around using Ubers and taxis. We enjoyed the property in the staff was helpful. We booked this hotel because the price was good and it was a nice hotel. You’re gonna pay a lot more for a hotel closer to the attractions in Central Rome. It was good value for the dollar."

"The entire interaction was pleasant! Staff at the front desk were professional and kindly helpful and the breakfast staff were also kind and helpful. I am grateful for the assistance and the fact that most everyone spoke excellent English to lessen my concerns on my limited Italian. Location was also very good near the Metro snd Central Train Station. I definitely recommend this property, especially for solo women travelers."
