"Was at the hotel for a romantic one night getaway and there happened to be a young sporting team there at the same time. Typically this wouldn’t bother me much, but our room was directly in front of the elevator in the main hallway where there was the most traffic. We heard screaming kids until almost 11pm and again before 7am running up and down this area right beside our door. I understand that kids will be kids, and I’m not upset that kids were playing, I’m just unhappy with the poor choice of room location when a couple walks in completely unrelated to the chaos that’s happening in the hotel that weekend."

"Room was clean, bathroom was clean, pool was clean, and breakfast was delicious! We will definitely stay at Best Western plus again in the near future!"

"Wifi service was extremely slow causing to long downloads, streaming services were not usable at all. TV channels were ok except of AMC channel that had video with no audio."

"Beautiful country Inn! Room was cozy and welcoming. The breakfast room is stunning! The breakfast was beautifully presented by a lovely, friendly lady named Kim. Perfect location to go out and explore charming Rothesay!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage! A tiny bit of everything we needed! it was very quiet and the deer roaming the property gave it a calm feel! Never figured out the train schedule but we were never disturbed during night, and the earliest it woke us was 7! No noise from neighbours, besides car doors... a cute and practical amount of dishes...Thanks for being a great host!"

"The property is fairly large and the kitchen looks nice, but overall the experience fell short due to poor preparation, lack of basic amenities, and safety concerns.The biggest issue was security. The front door did not have a proper lock, and our toddler was able to open it easily. For a waterfront property, this is a serious safety risk. The back door also had a gap leading to the deck where my child got his ankle caught—another clear hazard.Inside, basic essentials were missing—no kitchen towels, no paper towels, and no boxed Kleenex. The water cooler was empty and we were expected to refill it ourselves, which is unreasonable for a short stay. There were also no bath mats available (we later found them unwashed in the washing machine), so we had to use towels on the floor. The BBQ was not available, which wasn’t clearly communicated.The outside of the property was also a mess. It may have been off-season, but it looked like garbage was scattered around, and the area was not usable at all. We didn’t use the outdoor space during our stay because of this.Overall, the property looks better than it functions. It lacks basic standards and attention to detail, and the safety issues are concerning. would not stay here again. Families with young children should be cautious given the safety concerns."
