This is your place.Be sure to have the directions and the full address before you go. You cannot rely on a pin drop on a map to get you there (you'll incorrectly drive down a long, rock road for nothing). If you get into the area without fully knowing exactly how to get there, you may not have cell phone reception, and you'll have to drive away to get a signal to get it sorted out with the owner, Wyndi.On the plus side, yes, it is that remote that you have no cell service. However, the cabin has excellent WiFi.This place is a real gem. Wyndi was great to work with and she provided all kinds of snacks, from prepackaged to fresh items. If you're a coffee snob, bring some good coffee for the drip coffee maker. There was some Maxwell House there when we visited. "

"We had a lovely, restful and relaxing time at Bear Cabin. The river was cool and clear but the embankment was a little steep. Nothing unmanageable. We booked this cabin for the screen porch and it did not disappoint! Morning coffee on the porch was perfect. We spent most of our time porch sitting and enjoying nature. The cabin is quaint and the kitchen is well stocked. We hope to be back! "
