"I cannot say enough about this wonderful property! I don’t usually stay at a “motel” but made an exception and I am so glad we did! A young couple bought this property and are renovating it beautifully! Many thoughtful touches have been added including a fire pit with all the s’mores fixings! We had a great time hanging out there last night. Please give this place a chance and support this small business owner! Thanks again, Hannah and Alex!!"

"The continental breakfast was weak. If they would add maybe some microwavable ess bowls / omlettes it would be a 3.9 breakfast. The building breakfast is in was hot and the coffee was not strong enough."

"It's a great location with a view of Mackinaw Island. The bar/restaurant is large with outdoor setting and a complimentary breakfast. There's also a sandy beach with chairs and a nightly bonfire. It was our third stay and we'll be back."

"We chose this property because of the location and cost. It's clean with well worn furniture, things are a bit shabby but under new management. The beds were comfortable enough. We were there when the wildfire smoke came. During the first night we noticed a smoky smell in our room and awoke to extreme air quality issues. We had planned to go to Mackinac Island for the day but you couldn't walk outside without coughing. Actual ash was coating our car. We are retired and knew we could not...

"This hotel is very old, outdated, not well maintained and dirty. It’s actually an old motel. The stand up shower was worse than a campground shower. Breakfast was not good. This is very over priced and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I feel very angry I spent my money here and it didn’t look like the photos."
