"Wonderful home for our extended family to stay at while in Appomattox for our niece’s wedding at the end of September. The weather was perfect as well. Bill & Patti were excellent hosts and we enjoyed meeting them at their beautiful property on our departure date. We said this home reminded us of the popular 70’s TV show “The Waltons” as it made us feel at home in the country style kitchen, sitting areas, and well appointed bedrooms & bathrooms. The pool & gardens were gorgeous. 10/10!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the treehouse! It was exactly as described, immaculately clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We stayed for Liberty University Family Weekend and CFAW, and especially loved the aesthetics; it was so cute and thoughtfully decorated!I also appreciated that they use non-toxic cleaning products. The only minor issue was that the towels had a bit of an odor, but overall the property was exceptionally clean.Communication could have been smoother. My daughter and nephew wanted a home-cooked meal, so I messaged through VRBO asking permission and also called the number in the guest manual. I never received a response and later learned the VRBO messages weren't received. Since they were looking forward to the meal, I went ahead and cooked for them. We are a very quiet family, and it was simply a family dinner, not a gathering.I also asked permission for my daughter to use the tire swing, but the response came about 10 hours later—too late for us.Overall, these were minor issues. We loved our stay and would definitely consider coming back! Just be sure to read all the house rules before booking, especially regarding gatherings."
