"We stayed with 2 adults and 3 kids. Absolutely loved, loved, loved the village. There's not much to do, but feels therefore like a real immersive experience in a small village. The local library has a play area for kids with lots of toys and games, free to use. The accommodation is comfortable, clean, has everything we needed. Very much appreciated the washing machine to catch up on laundry."

"Mixed weather to start with. The land needed it badly! Took a trip back to Lisbon oceanarium on a wetter day and an evening trip to the Roman baths in Evora. Beautiful drive through the cork trees. It is a glorious calm, clean, comfortable home with a fantastic swimming pool for teens and adults alike. I would be cautious with young children. "A casa é boa, tem teoricamente tudo o que se pode desejar, mas fica aquém do que se espera de conforto pelo preço que se paga. Tem 3 suites mas efectivamente só uma é que é um quarto confortável. O quarto que fica fora tem o telhado com muitas falhas e o quarto que fica no primeiro andar (tem umas escadas com degraus altíssimos e “a pique”) tem uma casa de banho com um lavatório mínimo e o autoclismo ao fim de 3 dias deixou de carregar água. "We had an incredible stay in this lovely quiet village well away from the crowds of tourists. This gorgeous, large, cool, beautifully laid out house provided plenty of space for 8 people - 4 adults and 4 kids. "What an amazing time we had in Orvalhos! The house sits on a hill where it overlooks the Alentejo plaines. In the mornings , the sounds of bells and birds always made me happy. The locals are just as nice! The house was very clean and it had all we needed. We kept it warm by using the fireplace every evening.
