"This is the second time I have stayed here and it won't be the last. The Thai manager, who is also the masseuse, was excellent. She was welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I settled into my room and was able to have an hour's massage soon afterwards. It was wonderful after a 5hr30min drive. Later on, I headed out to the French Restaurant she had recommended last year and it did not disappoint. I would also strongly recommend it to any of your customers. The name is "unusual" Le Petit Bruit de l'oeuf Dur .... it is easily found on Google Maps and is under 10mins walk from the hotel. It is a true French restaurant and, as a solo diner, I was treated extremely well. After an excellent night's sleep, I had chosen to have the optional breakfast which was well worth the additional cost of €15 The Cathedral and the Évreux museum are free and well worth visiting...only 5mins away and the old waterways are beautiful. I certainly aim to be back next year Julia"

"The property is stunning and the grounds pretty. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed. As there was a heatwave, the air con was very much appreciated. It is a self check-in process and we didn't see any staff until breakfast time."

"This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful town. Breakfast was good, as well, and reasonably priced. Parking was ample and free (yay!). Our only complaint was that our room had the strangest feature - there is a window (with an integrated mirror) from the bedroom into the only bathroom. That meant anyone using the bathroom (and there were 4 of us in the room) was in full view of anyone in the bedroom. I'm sure this is great for voyeurs, not so much for families traveling with adult children."
