"Nice classic hotel, seems well ran but quite dated in some areas"

"The room was clean, though the sofa bed had a very thin mattress so you felt the bars in the bed frame, very uncomfortable. Pool was nice. Strange rotton milk smell in parts of corridors "

"Arrived in the room and found the toilet had been bleached but the seat not washed. I am a little OCD to immediately went to local supermarket and purchased anti -bac and cloths, then cleaned the room surfaces to my standard. I have worked in the hotel industry and know that the cleaners only have a certain amount of time to clean in each room. But maybe they need a bit more time to do their job. Overall the hotel needs a bit of a refresh but we booked in the knowledge that it was a bit cheaper than others in the area, so we accepted the negatives. Staff were great which was the upside. I would stay again so don't be put off by my review folks, just making you aware."

"GOOD SELECTION FOR BREAKFAST. A BIT SLOW ON THE SERVICE - HAD TO GO LOOKING FOR STAFF ON A FEW OCCASIONS AFTER WAITING FOR BUTTER, MORE TOAST, MORE JUICE. WOULD HAVE LIKED TO JUST REMAIN SEATED WITH A MUCH QUICKER RESPONSE FROM STAFF."

"This was a last minute overnight stop. Bar meal was fine and breakfast was the usual buffet style which was regularly replenished. All staff were friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking. Finding the room and navigating around the old building can be a bit of maze. Room was, clean and well equipped with a refreshing shower in the morning."

"No heating. Room very cold. Reataurant only open for breakfast. Had to drive for dinner. Only saw 1 member of staff who was very helpful"

"Staff were amazing, so friendly and great with our children. Breakfast was lovely, could not fault. Rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. Will definitely be staying again "
