"My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend with two other families. We’d seen some negative reviews, and while the house is rough around the edge, we had a great stay and the kids loved the sheep, chickens, pool, basketball and tennis courts. The house isn’t in pristine condition, but it’s neat and tidy, comfortable and is in a beautiful location. The properlty manager was also very responsive and flexible with check-in’s "

"We had a wonderfully peaceful stay and Budgong Lodge. Very secluded and pristine. Beds are comfy, great sizes, great bathrooms, showers and plenty of hot water. A real cooks kitchen and wonderful fireplace. This is a perfect spot, we saw wallabies and wombats. If you're contemplating booking, this is the one! "

"Enjoyed the simple life. Perhaps because of recent heavy rains, every time we went for a walk we found new wildflowers everywhere, and the place was full of a variety of butterflies, which really made our visit special. House was neat as a pin and very clean. It gave off an air of unflustered welcome and calm."
