"Beautifully furnished old room up several small flights of stairs (not easily accessible for some). Recently refurbished old pub in a really central location near the Cathedral. Staff were amazing - managing to make us tea & coffee when there was a power cut! Would definitely reommend. "
"Enjoyed our stay at the White Hart! The staff were very friendly and welcoming on check in. Room was clean and tidy with all basic amenities. Breakfast and other food good and very reasonable prices! Thanks, will book again next time we're staying in Exeter!"
"The hotel is a bit tired but the enthusiasm of the staff made all the difference.
The breakfast buffet was first class and I enjoyed using the swimming pool .

"A good night's sleep and a reasonable breakfast "
"A lovely decent size room….with great facilities….coffee,tea,milk,biscuits. A lovely shower and comfy bed. Large Tv. Didn’t use the spa or any other facilities so can’t comment. "
"Bucket list stay above an old pub. The room had lots of personality complete with crooked floors and funky tiling in the bathroom.
Required a good hike up steep and narrow stairs, but staff willingly carted my luggage up and down for me. Attentive crew and flexible with storing my luggage after check out.
Not for someone looking for ultra modern - this is a very old building, which is part of the appeal. Beside a popular part of town, expect noise.
The pub itself was great, excellent service, pints and food."

"The lobby, bar and restaurant have an elegant and timeless feel. I loved relaxing on the terrace with a cup of tea and a book. The room was large but my air conditioner didn’t work and the bed felt worn/old. I mentioned it to the desk and they put a mattress topper on the bed which really fixed the issue. The windows opened and in late August with the fan in the room - I was comfortable. The comfort of the rest of the hotel and the fantastic sauna, pool and hot tub made up for the bed and air con to the point that I will definitely stay here again!"
"The team was amazing and friendly, and I had no issues during my stay. I would definitely recommend them. special mention to the night security guard what a amazing and funny guy "
