"This hotel was very clean. Everything smelled fresh. The swimming pool is smaller but worked great and the water slide was fun. They had a great little gym that had bike, treadmill, elliptical, strider, free weights, and multi smith machine. They had a great breakfast in the morning. There is two service stations with convenience store and Tim Horton’s in the very immediate area. You are close to Ladysmith for a few restaurants and for a lovely park with beach access. It was a great stay. "

"It's the perfect spot if you are arriving from the ferry and need a place to stay for the night. I arrived there at 11 p.m. Check-in was easy, and communication was great and helpful. It is not quiet, so it is probably not the best for a long stay, but it is definitely very convenient, and everything was efficient. Also, it is pet-friendly, and that was the positive part for us. We will return if we arrive late at night or leave with the early morning ferry. "

"This hotel helped me turn what could’ve been a disaster of a vacation into a decent few days in Nanaimo and area. The Nanaimo Harbour is right across the street and Nanaimo Old City Quarter is a ten minute walk south. The building is older and there’s a busy highway on one side and I could tell when my neighbours were showering but the building was clean and the outside was tidy. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure beat the dirt off my skull and we never ran out of hot water. The complimentary breakfast is simple but efficient and the breakfast room is kept tidy and well stocked until closing. In the lobby, I took advantage of the ice water jug to fill water bottles for the day and in the evenings used the hot water from the carafe for tea. The front desk staff were kind enough to open the breakfast room so I could get decaf tea in the evenings. Overall, it was a great experience and I would stay here again."

"The room was spotless. The bed was sooooo comfy, but we had to pull the linens out of the foot of the bed to get them up over our shoulders. Parking was plentiful and convenient in the two garages across the street. We would recommend this hotel."
