This castle hotel was wonderful.
The check in process was electronic but the manager was close by for any issues.
Our room was way upstairs and while the hotel had an elevator, the last floor was only accessible by a small staircase.
The room was large but ceilings were low in the upper room.

I stayed in this hotel over the weekend of F1 racing in Spa-Francorchamps. Very nice hotel in a wonderfully peaceful part of Netherlands (close to the borders with Belgium and Germany). The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was central to the downtown shopping area, the university, and the tourist sites. Even the Lindt outlet store was an easy walk. The staff was willing to speak English or German and answered all of our questions. The breakfasts were typical German and we're one of very few hotels we've stayed at that served Westphalian Ham (we love it.)
The next time were in Aachen, we will be staying here again.
