"Nice rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff, main meals were good, breakfast was ok, but not much choice if you like a continental breakfast, easy place to get to. "
"Nice stay, easy onsite parking through remote gates leading to property. Good breakfast located a short stroll away at the show jumping club house. Peaceful setting. "
"Great location for us staying at Diddley Squat Farm. Parking was easy and the gardens were very pretty. The check out desk isn't open until 8 am, however, if you are aiming for an early departure. "
"I would really recommend this pub for your stay in Oxford.
The room I had was decent and the food i ate both in the evening (it has a predominant seafood menu with specials) and breakfast was excellent.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when they were busy. "

"The family room was large with air conditioning, very comfortable mattresses and bedding, plenty of good quality towels, shower gel and a body moisturiser in the bathroom and complimentary bottles of drinking water, tea and coffee (machine). The staff could not have been more helpful with our questions and requests. We were allowed to check in earlier (£20 fee). Their pizzas were really good. There was no immediate parking but we managed to find spaces around without a problem. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of Witney town centre, with all the usual shops. "
"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). The bathroom was great too, shower a little on the less-powerful side, but I expected that seeing as I was in a small hut and not a house. The internet service was reliable. I used the swimming pond, which was blissful and such a good size - cold to get into, but very easy to stay a long time once you're in. The location is peaceful and very green. (It's on a flightpath, which didn't bother me, I enjoyed seeing the planes going over every now and then.) I went on a nice walk on footpaths leading out of the estate and back through the village where I stopped at the pub for a drink on the way. Just wonderful. I will 100% come back here for some peace and some time to myself."
