"We used Le Mas des Boires as a home base for a family wedding (service in Saint-Jean-de-Côle, reception at Chateau des Boires). The property was beautiful with a wonderful outdoor garden, refreshing pool (although smaller than the picture), and well-appointed stately rooms with private bathrooms (we had two large side-by-side rooms with balconies that overlooked the property. We loved the historic charm of the building - huge manger in the dining room; stone walls, exposed wood beams, etc....

"This was a birthday treat for my wife, so we stayed at a hotel that we had passed many times and heard a lot about. We had a double room but no A/C which was needex. We did find a fan, so we put up with the noise. We looked forward to the lovely pool only to be told it was not in use due to re-tiling, most disappointing. "Overall the hotel was fine and a very unique stay but the heating was like a tap running all night and did little to heat the large room. It could have been cleaner but it did meet basic standards. No facilities to make drinks in room. The evening meal was nice as was breakfast. The views are amazing, we didn’t use the spa so can’t comment. "
