So glad we stayed at the InterContinental Resort Tahiti, as we met up with some other couples (also on the cruise we had been on with) staying elsewhere, not as happy as we were.

"Nothing really wrong and a lot to like about the Intercontinental. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner (Le Lotus) were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One pool under construction, but this wasn’t an issue. Easy access to the airport and town."

It reminded me of Mexico. Trash and junk everywhere. Everything was run down and dirty. Not the "paradise" you think of. Only some of the resorts on Tahiti are nice and clean and kept up.
