So glad we stayed at the InterContinental Resort Tahiti, as we met up with some other couples (also on the cruise we had been on with) staying elsewhere, not as happy as we were.

Wonderful check in staff and porters….our flight was 2&1/2 hours delayed leaving the west coast that added to the 9+hr flight time…the staff was accommodating and helpful….TY!!

Unbelievably noisy
The place is unbelievably noisy (traffic, loud music etc). It has zero sound-proofing. We only used it for a day stay to catch a midnight flight, but you won't get any sleep there. There was only one chair. Shower head wouldn't stay up. On the plus side, it has great AC and is easy walking distance ...

It reminded me of Mexico. Trash and junk everywhere. Everything was run down and dirty. Not the "paradise" you think of. Only some of the resorts on Tahiti are nice and clean and kept up.
