The cottage is about 40 minutes by car from Odense and Svendborg, where there are also plenty of attractions and good places to eat. There are plenty of opportunities for an active vacation on MTB or road biking in the South Funen Alps, and you can take an island hop to the islands around Faaborg - Lyø, Bjørnø and Avernakø. You can also take the Bøjden-Fynshav ferry to beautiful Als. The crossing takes about 50 minutes.
