Just outside of Fairfield Iowa is the Vedic village. Apparently the large domes are full of people chanting all day long, one dome for men, and the other for women. Interesting little detour when driving through southeastern Iowa.

"This is our second stay at Inga's house. The location is great, walkable everywhere. Very artistically outfitted and comfortable for our needs. "

"Pros: The room was clean and modern. Cons: The long term residents fought loudly and continually. Theiy had two dogs that barked incessantly. Other guest's decided the parking lot was a good place to party well into the night. Breakfast selections sorely lacking. It seems to be more of a long-term hotel than a regular hotel. "
