"I give 5 stars because, as always, my stay was very nice. Check in was so easy! As well as check out. The only issue I had was trying to find a vending machine that worked. My room was on the 23rd floor, that vending machine wasn’t even plugged in. I tried the floor below and it was sold out. Then tried floors 21 thru 19. Those would not accept dollar bills nor quarters. I gave up trying to find one and went down to the pub styled restaurant. Their bottled drinks were a dollar more than a vending machine, ugh. I did let the lady at the front desk know and she wrote it down. "

"It has been years since I have traveled to Shreveport. Baileys is the old El Dorado. All in all it is as I remember. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. I think the biggest change that surprised me was that the buffet is now a Noodle Restaurant. The Paradise Cafe is now The Sportsman Cafe. Limited hours and menu choices also. "

"This is easily my favorite bed and breakfast in the Shreveport area. John is a professional chef and prepares an excellent breakfast that is included in the stay. Yesterday morning, we were served blueberry pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes and melon wrapped in prosciutto. Coffee, tea, juice and wine are always complimentary. As an added bonus, his bed and breakfast is filled with numerous bowls containing candies, cookies, energy bars and other snacks, all complimentary. John is also a fount of knowledge about Shreveport history and an excellent story teller. All in all, this is a can’t miss place to stay in Shreveport."

The lady checking me in was very friendly and professional.The accommodations i requested were granted and if it wasn't for my niece accompanying me on some of my appointments i would stay here every visit but she enjoys the pool.Even upon leaving the desk clerk was very friendly as well . I would definitely recommend Microtel too my family and friends"

"I wanted to experience downtown Shreveport. Staying at the Remington is the way to do it. The Hotel is hundred years old and just a joy. go back in time to the hey day of vintage Shreveport. The room was spaciious, well designed. and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Thank you!"
