"Ray and Patti were wonderful hosts even going the extra mile to turn on outside lights for us because they knew we would be getting back late every night! They were warm and welcoming and we felt comfortable and safe staying in their RV camper! The beautiful Oak Trees and melody of birds were so pleasant to wake up to! "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mardi Gras house. We really hated to see that it was being sold but hopefully the new owners will continue to have it a Bed and Breakfast. It was conveniently located for all our needs. The house keeper was available at all times and very accommodating. The room was way better than expected. The decor was fabulous!!! If it does continue to be a bed and breakfast we will continue to use it as long as we can. "

"My daughter and I came for a short stay. This place is very clean and cozy. Has the essentials and is Close to all things you will need or want to do. Grab some dish soap and toilet paper if you are staying longer than two days. (There’s dishwasher soap there). You’ll get a workout with the stairs coming and going to the beach all day. "Front desk staff were all helpful! Cynthia in the bar/restaurant was the sweetest and very attentive. Housekeeping was fair. I had broke a large bottle of margaritas and it was sticky and lots of glass all over the kitchen area. We cleaned it as best we could but without a broom and mop there is only so much we could do. Explained to front desk about my mess and to please have housekeeping clean our room. They did, but there were still large pieces of glass. Then only made our bed. We had to ask for our bathroom to be cleaned and trash taken out. This was the only time we requested housekeeping due to us having our 2 small dogs. We stayed in room while it was being cleaned because our dogs are scared of strangers. Pool area was clean and well kept. The pool is beautiful! 1 block away from the public parking for beach. Overall it was a great getaway! "
