We stayed the night of July 15, semi final World Cup game. The staff at the Omni was not prepared for this and did not coordinate with local police on road closure and steps to get their guest in. Some didn’t know roads were closed and another told us all we had to do is give our reservation number to get through. The police would not let us through. I had asked for early check in which the first person said he would take care of it, but then the next two people I spoke to said it was not in the system and I couldn’t get it early check in because they were booked. We were not able to get in till 8pm because of road closures but I was still charged an early check in. I had to dispute it which they said they would remove. When I arrived at 8pm, they said my room was not ready and they needed time to get it ready. I expressed my disappointment with their lack of planning and they did upgrade me to another room that was ready so we didn’t have to wait. Staff at the location was friendly and tried to work with us. It just would have been better if management had better prepared their staff and coordination with police so communication was better on how to deal with the situation and better inform the guest.

Excellent hotel. Clean. Good rooms.

The staff were all so nice and very helpful! Loved the history of the hotel and the speakeasy was so fun but understaffed. Poor girl serving the place by herself did it with a smile despite carrying the entire place.
