"The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were quite comfortable and I always got a good night’s sleep. I love that we were provided with bathrobes! We did find our sink had a leak but the staff came to fix it immediately and we had no further issues. The heated pool and sauna are a plus! Despite having a lot of people staying at the hotel and it being very close to Union Square, it was relatively quiet. Eateries were all within walking distance whether we wanted something to grab quickly or wanted a sit down meal and we were able to use our hotel card to get discounts at a few of them! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Room was clean and comfortable. You can open the window and use the fan provided, which kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Liquid soap and lotion were provided, as was shampoo and conditioner. The staff were very friendly and greeted guests with a helpful attitude. The Chancellor is right in the middle of everything, with shopping areas nearby and a cable car stop right across the street. There is a bar in the lobby should you wish for a drink. Also complimentary coffee and cookies, and a cold water dispenser. A nice restaurant, Sears Fine Food, is right next door and you can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. If you choose to use public transportation, the Chancellor is down the street from the bus stop on Stockton and Sutter, and the Muni stop on Powell St."
