The Big Cabin offers a unique floor plan including a spacious master bedroom with ensuite bathtub and shower, bathroom, spa area, large kitchen, and great room. The open concept great room & kitchen affords the opportunity to enjoy epic views whether you are cooking, dining or lounging and wall-to-wall windows and sliding glass panel doors open to clifftop breezes and epic valley views as far as the eye can see.
Tastefully decorated, the sitting area features floor to ceiling windows and a wall of open shelving with a recessed desk ideal for work or study. Comfortable plush seating next to the corner wood stove ensures a cozy evening spent lounging, even on the most brisk of Park County evenings. If you can pull yourself away from the incredible panoramic views, there is a flat screen television for your viewing pleasure, plentiful books and a variety of games for quality play time. The adjacent dining space provides spacious seating for 6 - great for meal time or game time alike and the large kitchen island offers additional bar stool seating for 2. Open shelving throughout the well appointed kitchen continues the airy feel of the home and combined with the new, stainless steel appliances whipping up your favorite meal will be easy and enjoyable.
Meander down the front, window lined hallway to a quiet, cozy spa area. A large steam shower and massage table offer the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon of in-home, lavish pampering and self care.
Past the spa area and the hallway half-bathroom, you'll find the spacious Master Suite. The ensuite double vanity, shower and freestanding bathtub provide a bright and airy space - perfect for a quick rinse to start your day and a long soak after all of your Colorado adventures. Fall fast asleep, tucked into luxury linens on the dreamy, buttery soft Queen size bed and wake well rested for whatever another day in the Rocky Mountains may hold for you.
As you leave the Master Suite and enter the back hallway, enjoy the tree filled views through the windows and the seclusion of being tucked into a thick forest of bristlecone and ponderosa pines all along the North side of the property. Conveniently located in the back hallway, you will find a large walk-in closet with plentiful shelving and a laundry closet with a small washing machine and dryer, so no need to waste precious vacation time hauling dirty items into town.
As you step out of the entry door of the Big Cabin and back onto the elevated wraparound deck that connects The Cabins, you may hear the wind whispering through the branches of the large pine tree that stands between the two structures. The elevated deck is a gorgeous relaxation space. Follow it to the left as it curves around the Big Cabin and discover a cliff side perch and propane fire pit where you can enjoy an evening fire under the pines in the company of a thousand stars or continue around the Big Cabin to the private clifftop hot tub, where you can drink in the mountain views along with your tasty morning brews.
The Little Cabin offers another unique floor plan with 2 bright and cozy bedrooms on each end with a shared double vanity and bathroom in the middle. The Back Bedroom of the Little Cabin features a hybrid Queen size bed fitted with luxury linens, large picture windows with secluded forest views, ample closet space, and a flat screen television. Entering the hallway, you will find a large double vanity and private half bathroom with a toilet and a sunny and spacious shower. Continue through the hallway where you will enter the Front Bedroom of the Little Cabin. The Front Bedroom features a hybrid Queen size bed fitted with luxury linens, large picture windows with clifftop valley views, ample closet space and a small desk ideal for work or study.

The Cabins are on a heavily wooded, clifftop property that offers beautiful views of the surrounding Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the Collegiate Peaks, and the South Platte River. Additionally, Red Hill Forest is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe elk, deer, foxes and other wildlife right on the property.
Big Cabin / Little Cabin is located in the Central Colorado Rockies and if you can think of an outdoor activity, you will likely find it within 15-30 minutes of the Cabins. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, and much much more.

* This home is located in the Central Rockies at approx. 9,925 ft. Please be advised that elevation and weather should be considered when deciding if this location is appropriate.
* Guests are required to have a four-wheel drive vehicle with adequate snow tires or chains during the winter months from November through May. The area is subject to frequent unpredictable and adverse weather conditions which can make travel difficult.
* This home is located in a rural high alpine mountain environment where wildlife, insects and rodents may be encountered. The home is also equipped with a well water system and may have variability in taste, smell or mineral content based on time of year and usage.
* Guests will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement after booking.
* Outdoor security camera(s) are in use at this property, and may be used to verify guest occupancy. Security camera(s) are solely for visual (no audio) monitoring outside the property and are not present inside the property.
