Our family had a fantastic time at this lovely home. We took advantage of the hot tub, video games, and the fuzzy blankets! The owners are super communicative and generous. From top to bottom this is a very special place! The cabin is in a fantastic location - close to Asheville, Chimney Rock area, and all sorts of fun! We ate at an awesome restaurant in town called The Local Joint and did a beautiful hike at Tom’s Creek Falls. We would not hesitate to come here again!
Great property with great hosts. Remote enough for that mountain feel, but with easy access to Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Pisgah National Forest. Arcade was a blast and the sunset over the mountains was beautiful.
If you are looking for seclusion(other than the sister house) this place is off the beaten path and away from the hustle and bustle. Our family LOVED the games and outdoor space. We really enjoyed eating on the porch and grilling out. The kids couldn't get enough of the hot tub and all the nooks and crannies. We had a blast exploring and it was very humbling as we hiked around many of the areas still recovering from Hurricane Helene’s devastation.
My wife and her friends loved the cabin for a birthday getaway!! The owners were great hosts everything was as shown in the pictures and they even got my wife a birthday cake!!! We are looking into a family getaway here later in the year
We had a fabulous time celebrating my dad’s 70th birthday at Antler Falls, enjoying all the amenities this picturesque property has to offer. From relaxing on the porch and around the fire pit, to laser tag, bocci ball and arcade game battles, there was no shortage of memories made and fun to be had for the kids and adults alike. Christy and Patrick were wonderful, thoughtful hosts and they made our stay a great one!
We did it all at Antler Falls! From reading on the deck, corn hole, movie theatre, playing in the loft, playing in the tree house and s’mores at the fire pit, we made so many fun memories!
We had an amazing time! This house has everything you could want and so many things you didn't even know you wanted! Highly recommend. We came with our 3 young children and they were entertained the entire time (even with the rain!)
I would like to thank the owners. They made our trip from before checking in special in all aspects. From making it more personalized to also during the stay checking in on how the family was doing. The view is spectacular and highly recommend. This getaway has been fare most the best one. Don’t think twice you get Mountain View & So Much More.
Christy and Patrick were beyond amazing host! The communication with them was awesome as well! This home was secluded but not too far out of the way that you couldn’t get to a grocery store or outdoor/indoor activity somewhere near by. The amenities offered were fantastic from the hot tub to game room and treehouse! I could go on and on! Our family loved the cabin and enjoyed the Christmas decor throughout the cabin!
The hosts were very communicative, easy to contact and had plenty of tips. The cabin is better in person than the pictures and is extremely cozy while providing plenty of things to see and do. Everything you need is included so all you have to bring is food and beverages. All amenities are accurately listed and we had no issues accessing the home. The views in winter are spectacular! The fireplace in the home is gas so make sure you're not expecting to build a crackling wood fire to keep you warm at night. We really enjoyed our time in Antler Falls and definitely recommend!!!
The house was stocked with so many fun family activities to keep our kids off screens and engage in games, activities, relaxation and togetherness. A perfect home base to return to after hiking and exploring River Arts District. House had everything we needed and hosts were very gracious and helpful with great communication and recommendations at the house. The fireplace and fountain above it were so beautiful and relaxing and we also loved the porch and views. Highly recommend this house! We enjoyed hiking DuPont State Forest waterfalls, Black Balsam Knob trail and Graveyard Falls along Blue Ridge Parkway (worth the drive, our hosts fav hike and they were right!!), eating at White Duck Taco Shop and 12 Bones Smokehouse in River Arts District. Thanks Patrick and Christy for a beautiful stay!!
In the words of our kids, this house is "sick!" It was great for our family and we recommend it to anyone! We would definitely stay again. Our kids loved the game room and all the things to do inside and outside. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. One thing to note is the bunk room is a little more set apart from the main part of the house upstairs. Our bigger kids were okay with that, but just something to make sure you know. That said, there are so many spaces in the bigger part of the house that we would have been able to find plenty of space for everyone no matter what! We loved the fire pit and deck. The views were absolutely stunning and this house was the perfect place to get away while still being close enough to enjoy Asheville. Our daughter also loved looking for all the little animals and things "hidden" around the house. Patrick and Christy have really made this a delightful place to stay. We felt so welcomed! We would definitely stay here again if we come back this way.
We stayed at this property for a week and it was perfect! There was so much to do for everyone; from the arcade games to board games, books, an in- home movie theater, sauna, tree house, fire pit, you name it. There was so much we actually never had time to do it all. By far, our favorite place was the porch. We sat out there every evening playing games and talking, drinking coffee and watching it rain. It was so relaxing! The property was also centrally located to numerous places we visited, including Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, The Biltmore, Dupont National Forrest and Grandfather Mountain. The cherry on top of our stay was the hospitality shown by the hosts. The communication was great and they went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed. We can not say enough good things. Thank you for an amazing week!
My husband, myself, our 18 yo and 14 yo went away for a few days. I chose this property for the entertainment with the arcade games, pool table, fire pit, and hot tub. The arcade games are not full size and neither is the pool table. This is an observation and not a critique. We enjoyed the fire pit and with the unfortunate storm, we did have a large selection of sticks. The hot tub was not "hot". I'm not sure why this was and we did not tell the owners and chose not to use it again. The drive to the property is tricky as parts of the roads have been washed away. There are crews there directing traffic but I would not recommend this drive at night. The beds are firm and the hot water in the kitchen is tricky. The waterfall never turned on above the fireplace either . The owners were so open and communicated with us regarding any messages sent. Load up on groceries before you arrive as well. We drove to Black Mountain for a few hours and it is not a long drive. Our stay was good for what it was but it is definitely a property that could use a little sprucing on the outdoor cushions for the furniture, a way to deter wasps, and a warmer hot tub. This is only our experience and shouldn't deter you from having your own experience here.
