Amazing Stay in Fairview!

This was one of my favorite places I have stayed. The location is wonderful, close to Asheville and the Biltmore but in the mountains in a beautiful secluded setting with amazing views. The space is modern and cozy, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We used the hot tub on the deck every day which was so relaxing after hiking and being busy each day. There were many thoughtful touches, what wonderful hosts!

Loved the little red barn!

We loved this spot for our family with the fire pit, views of the mountains and the little touches by the host. There were games and movies for the kids, essential oil sprays in the bathroom and bedrooms and some cookies in the fridge. We would definitely stay again!

Relaxing and enjoyable

Accommodations were excellent. It was quiet and the fire pit was great. Our last day we spent several hours enjoying the fire pit. We roasted hotdogs and had a picnic by the fire. We went to the Biltmore Estate and Billy Graham Library. Both places were amazing.

Comfortable mountain getaway close to Asheville

The place is clean, charming, and comfortable with wonderful amenities. The listing and photos were accurately represented. Mary was a kind and attentive host. Although it's outside of Asheville, traveling to and from was quick and easy. Highly recommend.

Weekend in Asheville

We stopped in the Asheville area for a weekend on our way to Hilton Head. We chose this area because friends live nearby and we wanted to tour Biltmore. Our stay was pleasant and the house was immaculate. The only things that we missed were tissues and adequate storage for our clothes. Although one bedroom has a huge closet with shelves, there is not a storage option in the master. A small dresser and a clothing rack of some sort would be nice so you don't have to "live out of your suitcase" for the duration of your stay. Boxes of tissues in the bathrooms and bedrooms would have been a nice touch. Mary does provide other nice touches such as cookie dough for you to bake your own cookies, games, puzzles, room sprays, and shower needs. Be prepared for the steep drive up the mountain. Thank goodness my husband was with us, he mastered the driveway, I would have been quite nervous doing it on my own. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is centrally loated to Chimney Rock, Downtown Asheville, and Biltmore.

The Red Barn was absolutely amazing! Location, amenities and the home itself were as described. The host was easy to contact and quick to respond. She answered all of my questions and gave fantastic recommendations. 10/10 would totally recommend and cannot wait to stay again!

we had a wonderful stay at the red barn! the home was very clean (clean enough for a 1 year old to crawl all over the place, ha!) and comfortable. Check in was very simple, minimal check out to-do list. We were welcomed with a hand written letter, fresh flowers and some snacks! Communication with the host was quick, and clear. The home was perfect for my husband, myself and our one year old son. There was a provided high-chair and pack n play as well. mattresses were very comfortable. We would book again!

This is my third stay and as always the Red Barn Escape exceeds expectations. A beautiful clean comfortable accommodation with breath taking views. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet get away with easy access to downtown Asheville.

We had the best time at this Airbnb for our girls’ weekend! The house was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Relaxing location—close to hiking and downtown Asheville. The host was responsive and made everything easy. Would definitely book again!

Wonderful accommodations

The accommodations are wonderful. The two bedrooms actually are more like two different living spaces. If there are two couples, you can close off a door between the two spaces and have a bedroom and bathroom all to yourselves. The kitchen is perfect for your stay with a full size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave and all you need to enjoy your stay. Beautiful views, unique fire pit location away from the house and hot tub if you're so inclined. Only one drawback. We were not aware when we booked that the owners are right underneath you. This spoiled our privacy and, if we had known about the arrangement, we probably would not have booked. But, it's really no different than staying at a bed and breakfast or hotel with people in the next room. All in all, it's a very nice place to stay.

A delightful stay while visiting the Biltmore Estate for the first time

Mary,This house was an absolute to stay in. It was as if we were home. You thought of all the little things that make a VRBO stand out from just a "hotel". The scenery was breathtaking! The only sad part was seeing all the work that still needs to be done in cleaning up from the hurricane. However it is very apparent that the people there are "Fairview/Asheville Strong!!" The best Asheville stay I’ve ever had!

Mary and her family have furnished a beautiful home to stay in. There are so many details that go overlooked in other rentals, that they absolutely did not miss. From the snacks they provided, coffee, creamer, charging stations in the bedrooms for all of our devices, to the cleanliness of the bedrooms, bathrooms, I couldn’t have asked for better amenities. The hot tub was so relaxing and CLEAN. The patio was a delight to sit out on and enjoy the quiet. We never once heard them below us and hope that they didn’t hear us We were welcomed with a card and Mary kept in touch every day of our stay, and the days leading up. Very thorough instructions on how to get to the property, with pictures and everything. I’ve never experienced such wonderful hospitality. 20/10 would recommend again and again. Can’t wait to go back some day. The only thing that would have elevated the stay, and I’m stretching here, because it was just lovely, is better lighting on the deck. Maybe some Italian twinkle lights or a lantern for the table. It was very dark at night when we were enjoying the ambiance. Mary, keep up the beautiful work, your home is a true gem. Our stay was absolutely amazing. From the start being able to drive up the mountain to the home and coming into a nice setup with some goodies already displayed! This property is breathtaking from the views, to the fire pit , to the inside decor and cleanliness. Mary and family have really done a good job with this property. It is quiet and secluded and the perfect distance from downtown or any nearby attraction or winery. I would highly recommend this vrbo and host to everyone.

Just Perfect!

A friend and I took our daughters on a short trip for their sprink break, and Mary's home turned it into a mini-retreat. Just as described...probably the cleanest vrbo we've stayed at. A mountain oasis

My friend and I decided to a retreat style spring break this year to rest and reset while reconnecting with each other in nature. Asheville was a halfway point for us to meet up and we found this gem of a stay for a very reasonable price. From pre check in to after check out, Mary was available for anything we needed. We enjoyed this stay so much. The home was clean, well stocked with all stay necessities including shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the showers, and beautifully manicured private areas like the fire pit and hot tub deck. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Le Grange Rouge and the red barn for a peaceful and wonderful stay.

This is an amazing home away from home. The house is sparkling clean, cozy, cookies and waters in the fridge. Mary was very easy to communicate with, she is a wonderful hostess.We were so impressed, would love to have stayed longer. We are planning on returning next year!
