"This is a super cute very interesting property it’s historic with some amazing history, the owner was so nice and friendly very welcoming. Definitely a place I would stay again! There is no televisions in the room which gave us the opportunity to unplug and unwind and recharge!!!"
Luxurious Mountain lodge for corporate retreats or large / family gatherings

"Highly HIGHLY recommend this property! We stayed here to celebrate a 50th anniversary with our extended family and we are already talking about coming back. We had plans to do some day excursions a few hours away and ended up cancelling those because there was so much to do at the house and the surrounding property for all 25 of us - ranging in age from toddlers to seniors! :)We had a few minor issues with supplies and cleaning, but our host, Emma, was incredibly responsive and addressed everything within the hour. During our stay, we unexpectedly lost water (long story!), but Emma and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us and were extremely generous with a partial refund, they even offered a full refund if we choice to leave. We did not leave because they trucked in water just a couple hours later (at 1 am!!)The theater room was a highlight for movies, showing old home videos, charade games, etc. The kitchen was very spacious and the cooktop was a lifesaver for large crowds. If you plan to cook a lot (like we did), I recommend asking for an inventory of supplies - a few larger bowls and pots would have been helpful but we made due!Our family is looking forward to coming back to this location within the next couple of years for sure!"

Solar & Wind Powered Lodge on 160 Acres - Discount for 3+ nights
10/10 Excellent
"The accommodations for our large family was great! Although I wasn't personally unable to attend due to my husband being unexpectly in the hospital, our children reported having a great time. They loved the big open room for eating and family activities. They said the bedrooms were fun and the kids enjoyed the themed rooms and bunkbeds. The kids also enjoyed the playground area. One daughter said we should have our reunion there again next year! As a side note, we were not aware that the last 2miles to the lodge is a gravel road. The sudden rain storm made it a bit tricky to get in and out. But other than that, they had a good time."

Cute and Cozy Basement Apartment
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed here for a week and a few days with my son. The kitchen had everything you could need. It was a very hot week so the window portable air conditioner was a nice feature to help keep cool. The host was available when we arrived and sent clear communication prior to arrival for entry and parking. There was noise from kids above during the day on the ceiling. I was able to work and take meetings though and no one noticed so was not an issue for me. Access to a laundry was a nice addition so you can clean clothes if needed. There was a room with bunk beds, but we did not use it. While we likely will not be back in this area, we would stay here again."
NEW! GORGEOUS! 6 bedroom luxury cottage with old English charm, Mount pleasant
8/10 Good
"It is a cute home to stay in – there were a few problems with the air conditioner but the host fixed it. We bought our own toilet paper, paper towels and tissues. But later I found out they had a code to the storage where that was. All in all it was good."
