Solar & Wind Powered Lodge on 160 Acres - Discount for 3+ nights
10/10 Excellent
"The accommodations for our large family was great! Although I wasn't personally unable to attend due to my husband being unexpectly in the hospital, our children reported having a great time. They loved the big open room for eating and family activities. They said the bedrooms were fun and the kids enjoyed the themed rooms and bunkbeds. The kids also enjoyed the playground area. One daughter said we should have our reunion there again next year! As a side note, we were not aware that the last 2miles to the lodge is a gravel road. The sudden rain storm made it a bit tricky to get in and out. But other than that, they had a good time."
"I stayed here for a week and a few days with my son. The kitchen had everything you could need. It was a very hot week so the window portable air conditioner was a nice feature to help keep cool. The host was available when we arrived and sent clear communication prior to arrival for entry and parking. There was noise from kids above during the day on the ceiling. I was able to work and take meetings though and no one noticed so was not an issue for me. Access to a laundry was a nice addition so you can clean clothes if needed.
There was a room with bunk beds, but we did not use it.
While we likely will not be back in this area, we would stay here again."
NEW! GORGEOUS! 6 bedroom luxury cottage with old English charm, Mount pleasant
8/10 Good
"It is a cute home to stay in – there were a few problems with the air conditioner but the host fixed it. We bought our own toilet paper, paper towels and tissues. But later I found out they had a code to the storage where that was. All in all it was good."
Luxurious Mountain lodge for corporate retreats or large / family gatherings
10/10 Excellent
"Our very large family went to Welton Woods for a family reunion. We had about 40 people come in from different states. The homes was spotless and every need was thought through…down to the shampoo which smells amazing! We love the evening sunsets, the hot tub, the many games (pool table, ping pong, board and card games), and spaces to explore. We lived for the large, equipped kitchen. We made all of our meals and served them at the gigantic indoor table. We also used the several tables and chairs on the wrap around deck regularly. We had little ones doing gymnastics on the carpet, conversations on every couch and songs being sang and played from the grand piano. Life was complete and we feel blessed for the opportunity to be together."
Sleeps 15, Stunning A-Frame Retreat with Jaw Dropping Views
10/10 Excellent
"The view is breath taking. The cabin is open and has all the amenities you will need. Weather you choose to sit out on one of the 3 decks and take in the sun. Or watch the clouds go by. You can do it in comfort. Ride skyline all day and make it back to relax in the cabin each night. You are guaranteed to love this cabin. My family absolutely did. We had young kids and my 86 year old father. The host was great with a prepared paper to guide you there. It is on steep terrain. But nothing you cant handle. I brought a 30 ft trailer. I would not recommend it. But there is a place at the bottom to leave it instead. Skyline is a short drive. Just follow ON x. This is a true Gem. With lots of thought put into your stay."
