Villa with sea and mountain views, private pool and large garden

From the terrace you have a panoramic view of 270° on the Libyan Sea and the small islands of Paximadia on one side and on the village, the Messara plain and the mountains of Mount Psiloritis on the other side.
You will live romantic and unforgettable moments by enjoying every evening beautiful sunsets on the Libyan Sea.
This beautiful villa is located on the heights of Pitsidia and has no opposite side. It overlooks a large garden with swimming pool which is 5mX9m. At the edge of the pool, a large barbecue awaits you in the shade of a pergola.

Description of the villa :
- 4 large bedrooms giving on the outside:
* 3 bedrooms with double bed and storage
* 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and storage space
(possibility to add 1 extra bed and a cot)
- 3 bathrooms ( one bathroom with shower cabin, washing machine and toilet / one bathroom with shower and toilet and the last bathroom, private of the room 4 with shower cabin and toilet)
- 1 large living room-living room-dining room opening onto the terrace through a large bay window, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, refrigerator and dishwasher.
Sheets, pillowcases, dishcloths, towels and bath towels for the swimming pool are provided.
Next to the barbecue we leave a bag of charcoal to start your stay.

Great time in Crete

We had a great time in Pitsidia. Our host Annette was very helpful. She exchanged phone numbers in advance so that we could easily contact her when our plane got delayed on our trip to Crete. We met at the meeting point in Pitsidia and Annette guided us to the Villa Panorama. The villa is directly on top of a mountain with a wonderful view. In the villa we found a file with suggestions on what to do in the closer environment. On the day of our arrival, Annette reserved us a table in a lovely restaurant in the city center which gave us a perfect start in our summer vacation. The city center is at around 10 minutes walking distance away from the house. There are several restaurants and a bakery in walking distance. The house also offers a good equiped kitchen and there are also several supermarkets near by for those who want to prepare food by themselves. Outside, on the terrace in front of the house, who have tables where you can sit, eat and enjoy the beautiful view on the ocean. On the backside, there is a garden with a pool and a place to for having a BBQ. We had a really great time.

Schöner Urlaub

Wir haben uns während des Aufenthaltes sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr rührig und hat uns mit Informationen sehr gut versorgt. Top Lage des Hauses mit Blick auf das Meer und die Berge. Traumhafter Sonnenaufgang/-untergang. Ausstattung des Hauses perfekt.

Amazing Panorama and host

If you like an eagle eye’s view of mountains and the sea whilst being a 3 minute drive from the supermarket and restaurants in Pitsidia and 5 minute drive from the calm swimming bay of Komos then this is the place for you! Annette (host) and the locals are both friendly and amazingly helpful. We have had 18 trips to villas in and around the Med and we will be back!

Absolutely wonderful

Wow, what can I say, what a beautiful Villa. The photos do not do it justice. The surroundings are outstanding and peaceful yet you are only a few minutes away from Pitsidia itself with all the bars, restaurants, tavernas and supermarket. The Villa is also only 5 minutes drive from the beautiful beaches. Annette was so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, she was so welcoming and happy to share local attraction information with us. We cannot wait to come back.

Flott hus med deilig hage og basseng. Rolig. Rent og pent. Store soverom og fine bad. Alt som trengs på kjøkkenet. Krevende bilvei opp. Vi savnet litt mer komfortable stoler på den fine uteplassen, for der satt vi mye. Veldig hyggelige eiere.

Mooie, grote villa met onovertroffen uitzicht

De villa is zeer groot met alle nodig comfort. Het terras gaat volledig rond het huis en heeft meer zitplaatsen dan je nodig hebt :-) . Het zwembad is perfect. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Let op: de eerste keer dat je de steile weg op de heuvel rijdt, heb je stalen zenuwen nodig.

An amazing villa.

Villa Panorama is located on a hill and lives up to its name, the view was amazing in all directions. The downside was a somewhat steep access. The property was very well maintained, and the outdoor areas were many and beautiful. Inside, there was nothing to complain about, the rooms were spacious and all necessary kitchen equipment and cutlery were present. Also, everything worked smoothly. We have rented different holiday homes in several countries over a few years, none have had the quality of Villa Panorama. And finally, Annette was very helpful!

Amazing villa, kind hosts.

We had a great time at the villa. It's very spacious, with decent sized rooms, a large pool and three outdoor dining areas. The BBQ area was also very good and well equipped. We enjoyed the incredible views over the mountains and the sea. The villa was very well kept and well appointed, and our host Annette was always ready to help and offer valuable suggestions and local knowledge (but also respected our privacy). The only thing to be aware of is the very steep drive up to the villa, I'd advise you use a powerful car/SUV, in a small car full of people and luggage you are likely to struggle. However the trade-off is well worth it, as the villa is perfect, and you wouldn't get such incredible views and a sense of privacy without being so high up. Thanks for a great stay! We'd happily come back in the future!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à 7 dans la villa Panorama, qui porte bien son nom. La villa est spacieuse, bien entretenue, très bien équipée, nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine et les deux terrasses qui offrent différents points de vue. Annette et Dominique sont chaleureux, accueillants et très pros. Merci à eux pour leurs petites attentions !

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, vor allem den großartigen Ausblick!

Schönes Haus, gut ausgestattet. Insbesondere die Lage und auch das angrenzende Dorf sind wundervoll. Die Beschreibung des Hauses in der Anzeige stimmt und ich kann es empfehlen. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre ein größerer Sonnenschutz an dem schönsten Terrassensitzplatz Richtung Meer. Mit einer größeren Personenzahl sitz man daher meist eher hinten im Garten, wo es auch schön ist, aber nicht die spektakuläre Aussicht hat.

Wunderbare Location

Sehr schöne Woche in einer interessanten Umgebung. Haus ist so toll, wie beschrieben. Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen in dem Ferienhaus und konnten jeden Tag genießen. Dank an Annette ,sie ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin.

Beautiful villa Panorama in the south of Crete

We stayed in the beautiful villa Panorama in Pitsidia end of July, beginning of August. We can only agree with all the preview reviews. The setting of the villa high on a hill offers tremendous views of the sea, the mountains and the village of Pitsidia below. Being on top of a hill also means there’s a lot of privacy and it’s always very quiet. The only downside is that the road to get to the villa is quite “adventurous “ and you will need a good car to get there. It could be a good idea to put up some signs to get to the property. We used 2 bedrooms (of 4 available) and 2 bathrooms (of 3 available) and they were all spotlessly clean with air conditioning in the bedrooms. There is also air conditioning in the living room where there is an open kitchen which is fully equipped. Of course one of the highlights is the beautiful pool and the grounds which are very well maintained . There is also a large BBQ present but with the large choice of restaurants available we didn’t use it. At our arrival in the afternoon Annette provided for a light meal prepared by a very nice girl called Suzanne which we appreciated a lot since we started very early in the morning from home. There was also cold water and beer in the fridge. Thank you Annette! As we have been in the area before we didn’t really need a lot of tips of places to visit but Annette is ready to help you in any way she can. We would highly recommend this beautiful villa and would certainly go back if we visited the area again. Thank you Annette and Dominic.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in beeindruckender Umgebung

Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen in diesem sehr schönen Ferienhaus mit beeindruckender Aussicht auf Meer und Landschaft. Die Infrastruktur des Hauses mit Pool war komplett und sehr gepflegt. Die zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreichbare Ortschaft Pitsidia bietet eine Anzahl von Tavernen und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Matala und das Meer sind mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Annette war sehr zuvorkommend und stellte interessante Informationen für Ausflüge zur Verfügung. Ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig ist die steile Auffahrt zum Haus, jedoch für normale Autofahrer durchaus machbar.

Alles super!!!

Ende Juli wir waren wir - eine Gruppe von 8 Personen - bei Annette in der Villa Panorama. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen und daher können wir die Unterkunft auch jedem anderen wärmstens empfehlen. Alles war top gepflegt und die Fotos im Internet entsprechen wirklich dem, was einen dort erwartet. Annette ist sehr nett und hilfbereit. Sie hält die Villa, den Pool und den Garten top in Schuss und steht einem jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Auch kennt sie gefühlt die ganze Insel und hat somit immer einen Tipp parat. ;) Die Villa liegt sehr idyllisch auf einem Berg mit tollem Ausblick, was dazu führt, dass man dort seine Ruhe hat und die Zeit dort abseits des Trubels auch wirklich genießen kann. Wie schon erwähnt, können wir den Urlaub bei Annette und ihrem Mann nur weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank, liebe Annette, für die schöne Zeit. Liebe Grüße Christine

Alles Bestens!!!

Alles war Bestens, vor allem der unglaubliche Ausblick hat uns täglich beeindruckt. Annette ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die immer ansprechbar war und sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Tavernen hatte. Wir können das Haus und die Gastgeberin nur empfehlen!

Ruhe

Mit einer Gruppe von Freunden haben wir zum wiederholten Mal ,2 wunderbar erholsame Wochen ,im Juni, in der Villa Panorama verbracht. Wir suchten Ruhe und Erholung und haben sie gefunden. Über dem Dorf Pitsidia gelegen, gelangten nur die typischen Dorfgeräusche ,wie Hühnergackern, Ziegenglöckchen oder entferntes Hundegebell zu uns hoch. Wunderbarer Ausblicke , ein prima Pool und ein tippi toppi geflegtes Anwesen und Haus umgab uns. Da wir zur Zeit der Fußballweltmeisterschaft anreisten und wir Fußballfans sind, wurde von Annette und Dominik flugs noch die Satelittenschüssel mit neuem Astra Satellit bestückt. So konnten wir die WM verfolgen . Nochmals vielen Dank für den super service von den beiden. Wir kommen wieder

The villa was far better than we expected, better than the website images and very spacious.

We arrived late at night in the dark tired and weary and woke up the next day to a stunning panoramic view from the hilltop. To climb the final short steep drive to the villa, I would not recommend a very small overloaded car. Also website does not make it clear that the room with the extra bed is downstairs but was no serious problem. The rooms were clean and tidy and the kitchen was well stocked with self catering facilities. The village of Pitsidia was a typical and most delightful Cretan village with its small winding roads and laid back tavernas of which Markos and Mikes were two where we enjoyed local delicacies of vine leaves, mousaka and lamb always finishing inevitably with the local raki. The nearby Hippy resort of Matala was of course the main reason for staying nearby and was easily accessed via good open road. Annette was very helpful and always available, not that we needed her, other than on advice on local places of interest....like eating places. She was always there in the morning cleaning the pool. And even when we had departed, contact continued, texting us in the UK to say we had left a key and jacket behind and very promptly after giving her our home address she immediately posted the items. Should we go back to Crete we would definitely go back to Pitsidia, particularly as it is far from the busy touristy beaches of the north and northeast of Crete, it is truly a lovely place to visit in the springtime sunshine and just chill out.

Tolle Villa an schöner Lage

Für 8 Tage im März durften wir diese Villa als Familie (6 Personen/3 Generationen) geniessen. Die Villa bietet alles was das Herz begehrt – genug Platz und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für jeden, wunderschöner Rundumblick in die Berge sowie auf die Küste (Sonnenuntergang!), Nähe zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (u.a. Bäckerei und Metzgerei) und Tavernen im schönen Dorf Pitsidia, sowie ein ruhiges Ambiente zum Entspannen. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen, wie an den wunderschönen Komos Beach, samstags an den Markt in Mires, Ausflüge und Wanderungen in den Bergen (z.B. Rouvas Schlucht) oder einfach erholsame Spaziergänge durch die Olivenhaine. Am Abend nach einem ausgefüllten Tag im schönen Pool etwas schwimmen (war allerdings ende März etwas kühl ;-)), danach gemütlich auf dem schönen Grill etwas grillieren – oder einfach in einer nahen Taverne etwas essen. Alles war sehr gepflegt. Die Vermieter haben sich bestens um alles gekümmert und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Kurzum, es war eine perfekte Ferienwoche, vielen Dank!
