"I was very disappointed with my stay at The Shores Resort & Spa, especially considering the price. For what they charge, the quality simply isn’t there. Our shower drain didn’t work properly and would barely drain while showering. We reported it, but it wasn’t fixed in time for an event we had to attend, which made getting ready... uncomfortable. The hotel restaurant was also a major letdown. The food tasted like microwave reheats that had been sitting for hours, definitely not what you expect from a resort restaurant. The quality and freshness just weren’t there. Overall, this property markets itself as a higher-end resort, but the service, maintenance, and dining experience didn’t match the price point. I expected much better."

"We have stayed here before for bike week and love how close to Main Street it is - being walking distance is very nice. Beautiful beach view! But last time we came there was a bike wash station, which is really pretty essential on a motorcycle around the beach, but this year - nothing! Very disappointed in this but the room was still decent. Wish they had a microwave in addition to their tiny refrigerator available in the rooms."

"Dirty. Trash on floor of room upon checking in. Stains on nightstand, no shower curtain. Room reeked of cigarettes (non smoking room). First floor is musty. Just generally dirty everywhere "

"The room was great however, being directly on I-4 is extremely noisy at alk hours of the night abd day. The tub was super slippery when wet and the bathroom had a slidibg door that could easily pinch fi fers. The free breakfast was awesome. I would return, but request room away from busy road."

"The kitchen was stacked with only one coffee and creamer packet that was stale..the creamer was so hard it was couldn't co.e out the paper. Away from that everything else was ok."
