"I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, and everything was well-maintained. The breakfast was absolutely perfect—fresh, delicious, and with a good variety of options to choose from. "We stayed for 3 weeks and absolutely loved the house, access to hiking, easy drive to other parts of the island, and a terrific swimming area very near by. The house is fully equipped, very clean, comfortable beds and good quality linens, towels etc. Being near the ocean and in a warm climate there were a number of spiders and other small insects as one might expect in that climate and with being a country home. Three weeks on Pico was a bit more than we needed as it is quite quiet but there was easy access by ferry to other island, which was great. All communications were easy and quick. "

"This was a fantastic place to stay. Very conveniently located very close to the airport, but you won't hear much going on as it's a very small airport. This is a historic house and there's a lot to look at! The rooms are great and very comfortable. The breakfast service was great. We really enjoyed our stay overall. I'd happily recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on Sao Jorge and would stay here again next time we're here."

"This property is in a spectacular location overlooking the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. You have to coordinate the resorts ATV transportation but it's we'll with the effort. This is a perfect place to escape so stay at least a few days if not more. You should stop at the grocery store and be fully stocked for meals although you're greeted with homemade bread, local cheese and the owners produced wine. "

"The location was beautiful and the host was very friendly. The apartment was clean and well stocked; however, we booked this location to sleep and to shower and both experiences were sub par. The bed is so hard, it offers little comfort after climbing Mt. Pico. The shower set up is odd, splashing water all over the toilet and provided toilet paper. There was no a/c as advertised and we couldn't locate the washer; however, we didn't look hard. All in all the place was nice, but the bed was the worst we experienced in all of our travels. We're paying for it today. "

"Nice area to sit outside, well stocked kitchen, each room has a cabinet for items, basket of fruit from owner’s garden and lovely cake was on one of the tables for guests to enjoy. Diana works very hard keeping the place clean and is always available if have any questions. Short walk to two excellent local restaurants, small but well stocked supermarket and the Trilho Ecologico da Urzelina (TEU), a beautiful 3 KM coast path. "
