Set within the charmingly named village of Little Snoring, Sleepy Willow is a great choice for a good night’s sleep and, after all that sea air, you are sure to appreciate the chance to recharge your batteries in stylish surroundings. This detached bungalow is just 15 minutes from Wells-next-the-Sea, popular with holidaymakers and locals alike. Here you will find a picturesque quay, a narrow gauge railway which winds its way down to a wide sandy beach, painted beach huts and lots of great places to eat, drink and shop.
Travel east or west from here and you will find pretty coastal roads and villages offering a variety of seaside habitats including beaches, marshes and quays. Foodies will also be spoilt for choice as Norfolk enjoys a thriving pub food scene, with many places offering seasonal local produce. Make time to visit Holt, where you will find a truly unique high street full of artisan and boutique shops, cafés and restaurants. Head to the nearby Thursford Collection for a taste of days gone by, especially in winter when it is host to their famous Christmas Spectacular with Santa’s Magical Journey.
You can also be at the gateway to the Norfolk Broads in 40 minutes’, making this a great base for those wishing to really experience Norfolk. We booked at very short notice and the owners could not have been more helpful or accommodating.

We booked at very short notice and the owners could not have been more helpful or accommodating. This is a beautiful bungalow and all the rooms are on ground level , which is wonderful for anyone who struggles up stairs. The house is extremely well equipped, beautifully decorated and has a large enclosed garden which was very welcome to our two dogs. With a beautiful conservatory, high spec kitchen, very comfortable beds and attention to detail, this is one of the loveliest holiday properties we have stayed at. The village of Little Snoring is in a great location for accessing pretty market towns, many country houses and wildlife parks, and a very short drive from beaches and the coastline teeming with birds and wildlife. Also, good pubs and cafes abound, and are some of the most dog friendly we have visited. We appreciated the tea, coffee, milk, sugar and sweets on our arrival. We did not want to leave Sleepy Willow and look forward to returning.
