"Lovely, well-equipped lodge. Lots of extra touches, like eco-friendly toiletries, locally produced apple juice and towels for the dog. Very peaceful location on angling club lake, a perfect getaway."

The host called before we arrived to let us know she had left ice lollies for the children and some crisps. There was also things like ready meals, tea, coffee, sugar and sauces. Also a bbq to use. "Was really looking forward to this Christmas break, on arrival we were somewhat taken aback at the entrance to the property greeted by a broken down farm building. The promised Christmas decorations was just a tree, in the write up it promised sufficient supplies would be available, nothing not even a pint of milk. Such a disappointing start which soured our stay and left after 2 nights."
