"My wife and I spent the weekend hiking and bird watching using this lovely cabin as our homebase. The cabin was cozy and the grill worked perfectly to cook some steaks. Would highly recommend."

"Enjoyed the cabin and the downtime and relaxation. The charm of the cabin was appreciated. Wonderful deck to relax on. The variety of birds were a joy to watch. Loved watching the quail with its covey come around in the afternoon. Closeness to Palomar State Park was a plus. Was able to hike early morning and go back and check out the sunset from there. "Fun little property with very attentive hosts. They obviously have worked hard to create a magical hideaway and they love sharing it with their guests."

"The house was cute. Very clean and all amenities were there. The actual lot has another house right next door and a couple small bungalow types behind the cabin. Was odd because we could hear people’s full conversation when in the bathroom and even laying in bed. Parking for a large vehicle such as a Dodge truck, is not going to happen at the property so be prepared to pay for meter parking. I’m not sure if the bed and couch is also new as the appliances are but they were very uncomfortable....

"The resort is beautiful. The rooms are extremely clean. It is right next to the ocean, so it was very convenient. You have access to their other hotel, which is across the street which was very nice as well. The staff was excellent. I will be returning."
