The farm is a little remote, which is a nice thing that has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, the entertainment is limited to a DVD player or whatever you pull up on WiFi. At the same time, you truly get your privacy. You do have to fix your own breakfast. Six fresh eggs, begals, cream cheese, butter, and fresh fruit are all provided. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom is large, and the rest of the house is cozy. Overall, a great stay.

The hosts were so gracious to us! The eggs provided for breakfast were very fresh and tasty. The produce that we bought was farm fresh and very flavorful. I liked meeting Carl and all the other goats. I got to feed the chickens and the alpacas. Donna and Lance were very attentive to us. The romantic farmstay was very cozy and warm on a very chilly day! Thank you for having us. We hope to come again, if anything, just to order more of your flavorful produce. The macadamia nuts were exceptional in my cereal this morning!

Morning Song Farm is a lovely getaway from the city, gorgeous view of the valley. We enjoyed coffee on the patio, feeding the alpacas and the chickens and watching the peacocks. Home fresh eggs and fruit were great. It’s about 15 minutes from wine country which we really enjoyed.
Favorite vineyards were Doffo, Lorenzo, Gershon Bachus and Hart.
Favorite restaurants were Gourmet Italia and The Goat and Vine. In Fallbrook we loved La Caseta. Fun stay.

My wife and I stayed recently. We found it totally relaxing. From our leisurely strolls down to the chickens, to hanging with goats, to just relaxing in the unit. Throw a lovely hot tub in the mix and we were set. If you like to hike, we did the Santa Margarita Ecological Preserve. It was great too, just be ready to do some water crossings. We stayed 2 nights. One night we ate at Rainbow Oaks Restaurant. Great food, huge portions. The second night we used the stove. We like to cook so learning to do it on that stove made it more fun for us. We are looking forward to getting back here and maybe even trying out the other units. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. Can't wait to book this place again!!!

My husband and I loved our stay at Donna's farm, in the Romantic Farm Stay house. It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet, and the organic veggies and fruit and eggs from the farm were AH-MAZING. My favorite part of every day was visiting the alpacas and chickens, and feeding them snacks. I would definitely go back, next time I would stay longer. Thanks, Donna!

So happy with our choice of staying at this place. our only regret was not staying longer. Was so relaxing and they put a lot of work into making you feel more then welcome and at hope. They provided a bottle of wine , breakfast bagels and cream cheese. Not to mention fresh fruit and coffee from there farm. We will defiantly be back!

My partner and I stayed in the Romantic Farmstay at Morning Song Farm and
had such a great time. The hot tub overlooking the farm was really
romantic, and we won’t forget toasting our anniversary under the stars.
It was nice to have the hot tub to ourselves. Since I had to stay in touch
with the office, I was glad to see the wifi was fast. The host, Donna,
was warm and made us feel right at home. The amount of free organic
vegetables was a bit of a surprise, and the vintage stove was to die for.
All in all, a five star stay!

If you are looking to get away from the busy bustle of city life, this is the perfect place. Tucked in the hills of southern California, it is quite and peaceful. Donna had the fridge stocked with fresh eggs and produce from the farm for us upon our arrival. You are only about a fifteen minute drive from Old Town Temecula and about a 25 minute drive to Wine Country. The house is very comfortable and you have everything you need for your stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our weekend very much. Very cute place and loved the extras, food, wine and decorations. Appreciated the restaurant suggestions, enjoyed the authentic Italian restaurant in Temecula on our way home. Thanks!

My girlfriend and I had a great time at Morning Song Farm. Their "Romantic Getaway" was just that. I love to cook, so the kitchen was a bonus for us, especially the vintage stove. The place was super clean and nice. I was surprised at the amount of organic produce they included in the price. What really made a huge difference to us was that we got an extensive local's guidebook that the owner created, of things to do sent to me when I placed the reservation and we were able to figure out ahead of time what to do and where to go. We stayed busy and then came home to relax under the stars in the hottub each evening. Even though it's only an hour or so from downtown San Diego, it feels like you're in a different world. We'll be back!

A good time was had by all! We enjoyed meeting the neighboring winery owners and sampling their estate wines. It's a short drive to either Temecula's wine country or Fallbrook's. The farm is right in the mid point between the two and we eventually went both ways. Donna and Lance were attentive hosts, the home was well stocked; and we particularly enjoyed spending time with Lance and his treasured goats. (Don't ask him if his favorite goat...Boo Boo...is pregnant. "She's big boned," he says. Well...
The views from the front door are calming and just what we hoped for. Couscous, the llama, wandered in and out of our view during our stay. He's gorgeous.

We had a great time. Donna was very nice. Would of liked to of given five stars but the unit could of been cleaner (old spider webs inside and all over the outside furniture). We understand that it's a working farm, but we couldn't sit outside and enjoy the view. There is a tv, but we couldn't watch any local news, only videos on it.

We spent 2 nights at Morningsong farm and it was just what we needed after a long flight from the southern hemisphere. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of fruit , vegetables, bagels, "estate" honey and a number of other provisions and had all the amenities we needed. There was plenty of space and great to have a "dressing room" for our cases, clothes etc to be hidden away from site. Donna's suggestions sent well before we arrived, were really helpful and gave us some good ideas for our trip into wine country. We would definitely recommend eating out at Estrella in Fallbrook if you like mexican food. The hot tub under the stars was also a welcome treat.

We stayed at the farm as an alternative to Pala, and were thankful for the privacy and charm of the unit. It was spacious, and hosts were very accommodating. It was only 10 minutes off freeway, and we enjoyed antique shopping and a great breakfast in downtown Fallbrook. We'd highly recommend if you are looking for an alternative to the big hotel chains and casinos.

Loved it! We came to the area for a family gathering and didn't want to stay in a typical hotel. We weren't disappointed! So quiet at night, we slipped into our private hot tub and enjoyed the explosion of stars we hadn't seen since camping as kids. We had plans to hit the nearby casino buffet for brunch, but changed plans when we discovered the surprisingly well stocked breakfast stuff waiting for us in our kitchen. My girlfriend really enjoyed hanging out with the goats, and the llama came by for treats early in the morning. We'll definitely be back when we have more time to explore Fallbrook and Temecula.

Wow, what a best kept secret this little farm bnb is. It felt like we were far away, yet it's only an hour from our home. It's so quiet at night, and the sky was full of stars we hadn't seen in years. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the vintage kitchen stocked with organic food. Cancelled our breakfast brunch reservations and stayed in. The llama wandered over to us while we drank our morning coffee. And meeting the miniature goats was a real treat. We'd recommend this cute bungalow for any couple looking for a quiet, romantic getaway.

Tucked away in the hills of Rainbow, CA is this hidden gem made even more hospitable by the people running it. Donna is a wonderful hostess and has made my stays (yes, multiple) interesting each time. She is energetic and friendly. And if you want an easy person to talk to she fits that description perfectly. The views are exceptional and you will feel like you are thousands of miles from anywhere. A quiet place to relax, "the Farm" as I call it allows me to decompress and recharge from the frenetic pace of corporate America. If you 'want to get away', try here. And if the season is right, Lance will be happy to gather as many cumquats as you desire. Tell him Wolfe said so.
