Wonderful relaxing stay

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home just north of Portland. Close drive to anything we needed, but also located in a quiet beautiful neighborhood minutes walk to the town landing beach. We loved eating on the 3 season porch and the house had everything we needed for a family of 4. Communication was excellent and we would happily stay there again.

We were visiting a long-time friend who lives in Falmouth. For us, the Cottage was a perfect place to meet and talk -- either in the cozy living room or the sunny enclosed porch. Very convenient to Portland. Quiet and secure-feeling.

The perfect Maine cottage

We were greeted by flowers in every room. Comfy white slipcovered sofas and darling bedrooms. We loved being on the closed in porch with roll out windows where we ate and read and glimpsed the ocean view. Tidy and spotless. We loved our stay and will be back!

Cute little house

Last minute booking. All went well. It's a really cute home. Everything we needed for a trip to Maine. There is a cute store and a restaurant within walking distance. Not in a town, which was great for the getaway.

Adorable Maine getaway

My family and I loved this house. It had a great enclosed front porch that we curled up and read books on every night. It is walkable to the town beach and town landing store. The main bedroom was perfect for my husband and I and the attic bedroom was just right for our kids ages 10 & 6. The stairs are tight attic stairs but it added to the charm. Debbie had the house well stocked (soft towels and blankets) we hope to be back!

Cozy and relaxing cottage

The house is decorated with eclectic finds that are beautifully curated. The neighborhood is inviting and quiet. The trip to Portland was easy and quick so you have the best of both worlds. The host was available and helpful. My only suggestion would be a new mattress in the main bedroom and more cooling on the second floor. Overall a great place for a getaway with my daughters!

Perfect - Everything was exactly like the photos and more!

Having grown up on Falmouth Foreside and having spent lots of time at very nearby Town Landing, I already knew that this is the perfect location. Our favorite room was the porch, where we enjoyed our home cooked meals (kitchen equipped with all you need), could smell the ocean and feel the breezes. Debbie is a great host and made us feel right at home. We loved all of the little touches, the welcome note in the kitchen, the fresh flowers in every room, candles... Thank you, Debbie, for the perfect stay in your beautiful cottage!

Ocean front perfection +

We had the best time in Maine! The cottage is so cute with fresh flowers in every room. Big fluffy comfy seating to enjoy a book or movie after a day exploring. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed eating many family meals in the sunroom. Easy drive to Portland/South Portland and to the ferry to explore the islands in the Bay. Would love to go back and highly recommend!

Charming Coastal Cottage

This was a lovely respite with tons of charm. My wife took pictures of the place when we first got there so she could remember the place before we moved our luggage in. The host was very sweet. We arrived late at night and she put coffee and a little cup of oat milk out for us to use the next morning. 10 of 10! Would stay again!

Charming Cottage

Very charming cottage nestled in quiet community. We enjoyed waking to birds chirping, and even had chipmunks visit the patio. This house had everything we needed for a week of relaxation. The Sun porch was perfect for hanging out and working on puzzles. Our family of four found time to wind down and enjoy the peacefulness of this location. It’s just a short walk to the beach at Towns Landing.

Debbie was amazing! She walked up the street to greet us when we arrived, had fresh flowers in every room, local jelly and coffee, a helpful welcome book. The cottage is lovely and was stocked w/ not just one roll of toilet paper but enough for our stay, along with shampoo, conditioner, kitchen wraps, baggies, etc. We hosted a graduation brunch and had everything needed to prepare a meal and set a lovely table w a view of the bay. Thank you, Debbie, for sharing this special place!!

Great house, Great location!

We just spent the 4th Weekend at Debbie's house and it was perfect. Cozy house, perfect for a summer getaway with view of the water that made for a perfect Maine vacation. This house reminded me a lot of summers in Maine. It is a well appointed, traditional home full of character. Leaving the windows open at night allowed for the cool ocean air to ensure a perfect night sleep. We will definately be back!

Thought the picture was deceiving. Need to up date.

Loved it . Very quiet. I actually thought we could walk to the coast. But it was block. But we were satisfied. It was a great experience. Bar harbor was a bust. To much traffic. And needed a reservation for Acadia. Did not know that. Yuck

The description is exactly as listed. The neighborhood was quiet and very safe. The evening walks down to the landing were wonderful. If quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of the city is what you like this cottage is for you! Communication with Debbie was great. She let me know she would not be there during our stay but someone would be. Her niece was absolutely wonderful and very hospitable. She even offered me additional cook wear and spices if needed. They both had wonderful recommendations of things to do and places to go. This was our first time to Maine. We could have stayed several more days and found endless places to visit and things to do. We would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Quality Home Away From Home Quality Location!

I spent hours trying to find the PERFECT VRBO for our stay. Choosing this house was a perfect choice! Under-rated home and location! SO CLOSE to every where! We went on day trips every single day and happily returned RIGHT back here. There is nowhere else we would have rather stayed! We loved this darling home and quiet neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace both morning and night. Walking to the local market daily was one of our favorite things to do. Water view right from the covered darling porch and living room and even the master bedroom! An amazing beach is right around the corner. Untouched, so peaceful and fun! The windows open, most comfortable bedding (sheets and blankets) and I am one of the pickiest as far as soft sheets are concerned! I highly recommend this property.
