My spouse, pups & I enjoyed our week at the yurt! Loved that it was pet friendly, we enjoy bringing our fur babies when we travel. The deck was much larger than anticipated and the soaking tub was wonderful!
Very clean space (in nature and I didn't even see a bug inside) impressive woodwork and nice amenities including a hot tub. Very cozy, great place for a stay while maybe hitting a local trail and/or staying in and listening to the rain with a book. Also had coffee from a local roaster, fresh bag of whole bean too!! Little thoughtful things are wonderful
Quick overnight stay but absolutely perfect. The listing was exactly as described, and actually even better. The hottub & fire pit were our favorite. The pitstop grill down the road was also excellent
Never stayed in a yurt before. Had a great time. Loved the decor and accommodations. The throwback to Mayberry in neighboring Mt. Airy was a nice surprise treat as well.
Just as described. Fun, unique getaway. Comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. If you haven't stayed in a Yurt, you should give it a try. Delightful stay!
Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back. Hot tub, hammock, walk around deck, fire pit. Place has all the amenities. The highlight was hearing the heavy ran beat on the yurt and watching the lightning through the dome, so peaceful.
BeBy far cleanest rental We have ever stayed in. Private yet close to town. Enjoyed setting in hot tub listening to a Barred Owel hooting close by. Fun unique experience.
This was a trip to spend a bit of time with my two adult kiddos before the craziness of the rest of the school year ensues and they both graduate in May. The yurt was perfect, and we basically just hung out playing games and cooking food while we were there. My granddog loved sniffing around thr outdoors, and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. My only insight is that the first set of steps coming up from the parking area may be a bit hazardous for those with any sort of mobility limitations, and there are no hand rails, even when everythingis dry. Everything was covered in ice the day we had to leave, and getting ourselves and our belongings out of the yurt safely turned into a whole fiasco. It may also be worth mentioning that an AWD vehicle would probably be recommended, particularly in any sort of adverse weather conditions. Overall, this place was amazing, and Jodee was very responsive and lovely to work with. Thank you for everything!
Our stay at the yurt was nothing short of magical. Tucked away amidst towering trees and rolling hills, the yurt offered a tranquil escape only a short 90 minutes from Charlotte. The interior was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, providing all the comforts of home while still allowing us to immerse ourselves in nature's beauty. If you're looking for a rejuvenating retreat surrounded by nature's splendor, look no further than this charming yurt. We can't wait to return!
This was our first stay in a Yurt and we weren't disappointed. We loved the layout, the way we could stargaze in our bed, and relax in the hot tub. I was looking for a private, mountain getaway and this was recommended. My husband and I were celebrating out 10 year Wedding Anniversary and just wanted to get away. We loved ever minute and we will be back. Thank you for everything ❤️
This place was top notch from top to bottom, great communication with owner. Every thing u need ( we over packed) if you can think of it as far as amenities goes, it’s there. We will be back for years to come . If I were to have just one critique, it would be our yurt outside light went off automatically at 11:00, while the others stayed on for about an additional hour. But again I’m just not picking for even mentioning it. Great stay
Really peacful and clean even though the power was out. We arrived to no power, due to hurricane Helene (we did have the option to leave at anytime). We stayed with no power for 2.5 days, but we made it work. All of the neighbors were super nice and the owner was AMAZING. I would 100% recommend this place and we will absolutely be coming back. The hot tub was super nice and relaxing and so was the very large bathtub. The shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash built in which is nice even though we had our own. The kitchen has just about evehrhing you need as well. The bed is very comfortable! I genuinely cannot say enough good things about the owner and the property. It was definitely an experience without power but well worth it once power was restored!
