"I have had previous experiences with other VRBO hosts that were more responsive. The house was not clean: cigarette butt found in the bedroom, refrigerator handles were sticky, the towels were folded but damp/wet, left over coffee in the coffee pot."

"We rented this house during a dance competition that was being held at a local high school. The competition was about 15 minutes away so this location fit perfectly. Upon checking into the house, we were very surprised at the amount of steps to get to the house and that that was not listed initial listing. "Overall we were very pleased with our stay! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. There is a wide open park area within walking distance. The location is very convenient off of the main roads and near shopping. There were a couple of things that would have made our stay better, but after speaking with the owner directly, he has already implemented all of our suggestions so there is no need to mention them. "Great property near all the cool things around Lake Hopatcong and super close to Sparta and Lake Mohawk. Our daughter has a home nearby but not big enough to host 10 family members. We used this property as home base and so glad we did. Spacious living and dining rooms, great kitchen with all the amenities, nice sized bedrooms - what more to ask for. "No Complains. Too many additional features like Wild Animals in the Backyard. Rabbits, Deers, Koi Pond, Hot Water SPA outdoor with many Water Jets and a Creek with Running Water that Runs to Dismal Swamp."

"The host was pleasant and responsive when there was an issue. BUT kitchen lacked basic necessities including tableware for more than 2, bowls/measuring cups, toaster, and a coffee maker that had all its parts. Appliances were missing pieces. Bedding was worn but clean. Plastic covered so much of the property, including a mattress making every movement noisy.
