May have been the site of a Medieval building, but by 1655 it came into the hands of the Walcot family, who were Royalists with very close ties to Charles I. In 1766, the house was was completely redesigned and redecorated by Thomas Farnolls Pritchard. The Feathers Hotel
This hotel is situated in the heart of the High Street with everything within easy walking distance . There was also a little Market with lovely things that was well worth a look .

Charming,Spacious Manor House with Lake&Pool Table
Fabulous house grounds and facilities. Just spent my 50th birthday here had a private chef on the Saturday night which was perfect in the lovely dining space. Definitely recommend it.
