"This is a basic hotel. It's clean, which is always appreciated, but if you want your room cleaned during your stay, there's an upcharge. The rooms are extremely tight. I booked two twins so that I would have some place to open my luggage. There are no closets and there isn't a safe. Coffee/tea are available for a fee. The bed was comfortable. The staff was present, but not proactive. This is the best of no-frills. All of that being said, it's a great location with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. It's about a 15-20 minute ride into Oxford Center and the bus stop is just a short 3 minute walk away. With frequent buses and a daily bus pass, it's a much more affordable option than staying in Oxford proper."

"The staff were very helpful, the spa was lovely! The hotel and grounds are very nice, albeit looking a bit tired. Breakfast could be better as it felt slightly chaotic as alot of the items kept finishing and people had to ask for it to be replenished. I had an amazing time though and will probably go again ."

"I stayed at this hotel 4yrs. ago & the improvements are amazing. Looks as though it has had a complete overhaul. Immaculate decorations & spotlessly clean & fresh. Our studio was so spacious with stunning views over the golf course. We ate breakfast outside on our spacious patio. Will definitely stay here again as location is perfect for so many beautiful parts of the Cotswolds."
