This vacation home is equipped with all the essentials you need, including 4 bedrooms (FYI: 4th bedroom doesn't have a T.V. and the AC vent doesn't blow as hard as the rest of the rooms), 2 bathrooms, cotton towels, a hair dryer, an ironing and board, and air conditioning and heating to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. With the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, you can pack light and focus on creating lasting memories during your time here. In addition, our house is truly a treat for fishermen. Lake D' Arbonne is one of the top fishing lakes in the country and home of some of the top fishing tournaments in the US. Even if just for relaxation and to unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lake D'Arbonne is a great place to go to unwind.

FYI: Parking is limited due to narrow roads. No events/family gatherings held allowed at the house. Boat launch is nearby.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Strip all used beds, fold the quilts put them on the side. Put dirty linens and used towels in the laundry baskets and store them in the laundry room.
Rinse w/dish soap all used kitchen utensils (Put food particles, used cooking oil/grease in a jar and put in the trash as we don't have garbage disposal. Load them in the dishwasher and run it.
Check all your belongings make nothing is left behind as anything left at the house will in the trash. Turn off lights, turn off AC and push the lock button when you leave. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great location for our annual fishing trip

The location was great with easy access to fishing areas and public boat launch. Located in a small, quiet community. The host was able to accommodate a last-minute schedule change with no issues. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

Lake House

Our recent weekend stay at this lake house was absolutely fantastic! The property was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and with plenty of room for our family to spread out comfortably. We were staying there to be close to the venue for my daughter’s wedding. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it provided the perfect peaceful escape we were hoping for. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and the overall atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a relaxing and spacious retreat.

A wonderful stay

This was a wonderful trip for our family. We were visiting the area for a funeral and this beautiful home was perfect for us. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake and we spent many nights playing games and building puzzles to keep us occupied! Televisions available for the older kiddos. Very spacious and lovely decor that touched us on a personal level. The owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. We will most definitely be staying here anytime we are in the area and I would recommend 100%

Graduation weekend at Tech

We love to stay at your home. We stayed. 2 weeks ago for other pre-graduation activities and were fortunate enough to stay again this weekend. Enjoyed the view, the fishing, the poker table and just some relaxing family time. Thanks again.

Christmas at the llama house

The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a welcome surprise. The location was right on Lake Darbonne. Anytime that the sun was out, we could gather in the sunroom and enjoy the view. We had an amazing time just relaxing in the comfortable house with family.

Every detail has been thoughtfully added to this property.

From walking in the first impression is the cleanliness and the 2nd is the view! The host communications are accurate as you could ever want before, during and after the stay. Laurie is not only a gracious host but makes sure you are comfortable at thier Luxury rental. We had a wonderful time and will be back yearly. As frequent travelers this luxury rental is the best stocked to date. Thank you again and to anyone contemplating this rental I give this 5 stars!!!

My friends and I rented this house to stay at during the weekend of one of my friends wedding that was on the lake. It met our expectations! It was the perfect size for 6 with extra room for another couple if needed. The views was wonderful! The owners were very polite and was only a text away if we needed anything. Perfect location also, minutes away from town. Defiantly will keep this house in my favorites for any of my future stays.

Family Fun

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting other family who live nearby. It is welcoming and very clean. We are accustomed to bringing along ‘extras’ when we rent…no need here as the entire home is well-stocked. The view is amazing from inside and outside; even the lawn was beautiful. We felt safe and secure; strolling the friendly neighborhood was a treat. Laurie was very attentive to check in with us to see if we needed anything. All of our expectations were met with a ‘plus’. We are planning a return visit to Mercy Me!

I arrived fully armed with personalized selections in my bag as most Short Term Luxury Rentals don’t always cover all the needed items. Let me tell you. This stay was wonderful and the host was amazing as well. The owners are thoughtful and go over the top on all selections of toiletries and towels etc. They did not cut corners anywhere. The appointments and cleanliness were over the top!! Thank you and we will be back! Thank you again! This is definitely a Home away from Home!

A little piece of Heaven

This property was perfect for family fun, connections, and relaxing in tranquil environment. We stayed at this peaceful place so that my sister could heal from her double mastectomy. And it couldn't have been a better location. The house was perfectly situated for all that we wanted to do. The neighborhood is fabulous, and the neighbors are all friendly. They would bring us over fruit and vegetables from their garden, and they even helped us with fishing poles; they also, gave us tips on catching big fish, and we did! All I can say about this place is that it is a little piece of heaven. Laurie the property manager was amazing in assisting us with everything we needed to have a divine experience!

Loving Lakeside Louisiana ❤️

We decided as a family short notice that we wanted to vacation in Louisiana instead of going to Maine again…. We are from Pennsylvania. And boy was it a amazing change! The rental property is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained and stocked.. The property owner Laurie was outstanding. Not only is the house beautiful inside and out the neighbors Tony, Sandy, and Linda were also very pleasant and easy to talk to and their hospitality was most Admirable! . But most of all the views were to die for!!!! If you ever decide you want to vacation in Louisiana on a Lahe full of fish, this is the place to be!!!!!! So I want to take this time to thank Laurie for one of the best vacations we ever had. I hope you will definitely let us come back!!!!

Fantastic choice!

The beds are super comfy. The property is extremely clean. There are smart TVs in the bedrooms. Two bathrooms with showers. The washer and dryer are FULL SIZED washer/dryer. Definitely a win for a family stay. 10:10 recommend.

Room for Family

The neighborhood was very nice, scenic and clean. The house is in a cul de sac and easy to find. The paved driveway can hold four vehicles max. We asked Family to park at a public dock about an eighth of a mile up the street and we shuttled them back and forth. The house was an open concept, very clean and have all the items we needed to cook and clean. The living room, dining and kitchen are together, and you're able to step down into an glassed in patio which seats 10-12. The bedrooms were spacious for everyone that stayed. The two bedrooms with the twin beds were closed off in a "jack and jill" style with the bedroom leading into the huge laundry room into the huge restroom with walk in shower into the rear bedroom. This bedroom didn't have a TV and the vent did not blow as hard as the rest of the home but it was still very comfortable. The view outside was amazing, with the back yard leading to the dock off the lake. The only negative were the mosquitoes that gathered on the upper walls in the common area when the lights were on and the parking. I would definitely stay again without hestitation. reaching the house

Great view of the lake.

Mercy Me Escape was perfect for our stay in Farmerville. The sunset lake views were stunning. The house was perfect with plenty of beds and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Everything from start to finish was flawless. I highly recommend!
